Don't see anything about an SWM tournament on the website, but it sounds interesting.

Laurel should have it up on the website soon. Hope you can make it.

bump...the tourney seems to be listed on the site now. There's a moderate chance my brother and I will show.

Well, there were five players total. The final results were like this:

1st: my brother Dave (3-0)
Aurra Sing
IG-88
4-LOM

2nd: tourney organizer (1-1 with bye)
Aurra Sing
Boba Fett
flying R2D2

3rd: me (2-1)
Grievous' Wheelbike
Sly Moore
Ichtachi Tech Specialist

4th: Mike "Chewie" DuVal (0-2 with bye)
Jabba
Dengar
Greedo
Bossk
Jawa

5th: other guy (0-2 with bye)
Grievous with pistol
Battle Droid Officer
Super Battle Droid x3
Battle Droid x2
Security Battle Droid
(afterward, he revealed that he didn't notice during construction that pistol Grievous didn't have the +4 attack CE of lightsaber grievous....whoops!)

Minor complaint about DCI software: I lost to #1, and defeated #4 and #5, the second place lost to #1, had a bye, and defeated #5. Apparently, the software ranks a bye higher than me defeating #4. How is that fair?

Entry fee was $5. Winner got two RotS boosters, second place got one. When I pointed out the silliness in the DCI scoring, I got myself a booster for third place. [:)] Participants also got tiles from the April kit, and I snagged a Shockwave template.

Dang sorry I missed it. I live in Hagerstown so it's a hike but I may try and make a few a year.

If more people are interested I will try to schedule another event, probably in June. I was disappointed only having 5 players, I'll have to come up with better ways to publicize it.

LOL, it would be funny if the mini was actually named that way [:D]

Btw, what does 'bye' mean? Never been in a tournament, but I've seen that several times...

If you have an odd number of players one person usually has to sit out a round, thus earning a bye which generally counts as a win. It stinks when it works out that way, but there's little that can be done about it.
