Best is so subjective. I like Darth Vader, Dark Jedi because of the sculpt- particularly after my friend Chris glued a rebel trooper into the open hand, making it look like the scene aboard the Tantive IV where Vader is chokes Capt Antilles. Also, this Vader is FUN to run with a ton of Stormtroopers- I actually look foward to rolling ones ("You have failed me for the last time.")
If you mean best as in "powerful", I would have to go with Darth Vader from Revenge of the Sith, particularly with a Rebel Storm Palpatine to feed him force points...

Yup, that's pretty much it. I consider DJ best as I got it from the starter like anyone can, and I LOVE the commander effect! [)] I think he won't see much use with huges, though [:D] ("You've failed me for the last time, At-St!" *Schrunch*)
But in Rebel Storm, melee -figures were over overpriced a little, in RoTS that was fixed.
Sounds like I'll have to pick up the RS starter after all. I went with the CS last time, I wanted Obi-wan and Jango. But the Vader sounds too cool to pass up on. | | "We can't stop here...This Is Bat country!"

| It's realy nice for me, I tend to roll ones pretty consistanty. No that my dice sense they want me to roll ones they are confused and I'm actually doing rather well with him. Vader +9 stormies = good time.

I know the feeling. Right now there is only actually one stormtrooper in my case. But by amazing coincidence there are eight on the way to me in the mail. [:D] | | "We can't stop here...This Is Bat country!"

Or turn the swords into lightsabers- A bit of variety for your Jedi Guardians, Jedi Knights and Dark Acolytes- The Renegade Warlock looks particularly nice with a red lightsaber [:D]

I think it would probably drive many DDMers into tears. Especially the ones who haven't got a Drizzt yet. | | "We can't stop here...This Is Bat country!"

Reading that quickly, my mind changed that to Darth Platypus [:o)]

| Cool. I just started and I'm still in the collecting stage (have yet to play a game). After looking at my cards one of the first squads I was going to try out was Dark Jedi Vader with 9 Stormtroopers. [:D]
To me that looks fun and menacing. Glad to hear the fun part pays off.

| | Fun indeed specially when you're like me and start off the game by rolling 5 consecutive natural 1's good thing it was a 200 pt. game and all my troopers now had an additional +10 to hit, hehehehehe | | To err is Human, To arr is Pirate | |

| | Yeah that happens to me all too often, still in a 100 point game that's 25% of your force down the toilet. Ouch.[B)] | | Pathetic Earthlings. | Well I finally played my first game. I let my buddy use my DJ Vader with 9 Stormtroopers squad. I took Rebel Luke, Chewie, 2 X-wing Pilots and a bunch of 5 pt. Rebel troopers.
Chewie wasted 2 crit hits on Stormtroopers and I rolled 4 crit misses. =( Needless to say the Empire won. That Vader/Stormtrooper squad seems deadly. Stormtroopers are well worth the 5 pts.
I had a lot of fun.

| | Cool heres to many more fun games for you. I would say I'm kind of partial to RotS Vader even though I have all of them. LOL although I've never used any of them as my brother plays the evil side only. I recently gotten my DDM playing buddy into SWM. SO maybe I'll try a Vader squad or two against him. | | Champion of Jarlaxle Sets: Star Wars Year one complete,44/60 Champions of the Force,0/60 Bounty Hunters | |
