| Isn't there somthing about the minature needing to be within six squares of the hidden minature? Or am I mixing DDM rules with SWM rules.

| Stealth in SW only works if they are farther than 6 squares away. If the SBD can't get with in 6 sqaures of the Commando and it has cover then it can't be a target at all.
Even if the Commando is the only figure as long as it's more than 6 squares away and in stealth it can't be shot.

| Sure.
Lets say this Commando is in Low Cover 16 squares away from your Arc Trooper. The Commando is the only figure that the Arc Trooper has any chance of making LoS to because all the rest are in a room hiding or dead.
The Arc Trooper can move 6 squares and take a shot but that leaves him 10 squares away from the Commando. Targeting rules say that you can only shoot a figure with Cover if it's the closest enemy. Stealth says if the figure is more than 6 squares away and is in cover it does not count as the nearest figure.
So... the Trooper can't take a shot on the Commando with that scenario because the Commando doesn't count as the nearest figure.

| Roger that. I just find the logic a bit funny (how can it be not the nearest enemy when it is the only enemy [:o)])
I just hope they change the wording and remove the "nearest enemy" bit and replace it with "you can't target this creature if this creature is under cover and the attacker is more than 6 squares away."
This should take care of the confusion. | |
