| It is based on the "lightsaber" ability, not on the shiny translucent plastic thingy. It is actually built-in with most jedi (well, all I've seen so far, at least). The ability is written only if the character has both ranged and melee attack AND the ranged attack does not inflict as much damage as a lightsaber attck (which is usually 20).

That's what I thought and how we've been playing it but I wanted to make for sure. I even have a Dark SIde Adept and didn't even look at the card until now. Duh.
