Well, first, there is still a lot of product out there. Locally we have no problem getting Rebel Storm, Revenge of the Sith or Universe. Yeah, Clone Strike is harder to find but can be had.
Second, WotC seems to be addressing the oop issue, with multiple versions of characters and resculpts. Can't get CS Maul? Well there is a new one in Universe. Didn't get Dooku? Well, here is Tyrannus etc. And I suspect certain utility generics (Stormtroopers, Battle Droids etc.) will be seen in nearly every set.
No, not everyone will have equal access to figures- that is the Collectable part. But I don't think newer players will be at a deep disadvantage. And, when sets sell out- well, that means SWM is selling. | | | |

Actually, i'd only want a few pieces of that particular set, so perhaps buying them on ebay would be cheaper...but Aayla Secura/darth maul/yoda and cheap doesn't ring well together.
Since i suppose i am not alone, i thought...what about the guy who'll learn that this game exist in a year [xx(] | |

He may be sitting pretty depending on what comes out in Champions of the Force or Bounty Hunters. There are likely to be new power combos and new versions of the "classic" characters. Someome who wanted Han, Chewie or Vader would have lucked out as the "best" versions are in the readily available Universe.

Well, if you have to have the CS versions of the last two, then yeah it can be expensive but the is almost universally true if you do go with the collector mindset. | | | |
