The AT-AT base is 6" x 12". I'm actually less impressed by it in person than I thought I'd be. The AT-ST is more annoying though, with its incorrect proportions.

I like the AT-AT as it is. The only flaw (and a minor one it is) is that grid on the base, which makes the thing less suited for display "as such". I'm planning on buying a second one (as a Christmas present to myself) and work on its base (add snow/ice, perhaps a snowspeeder when we get them, and a few trooper corpses) to make it a truly unique display piece. The AT-ST I like too. I think it is not so much out-of-proportion as it is in an awkward pose (I think the only flaw is that the "upper legs" linked to the "torso head" should be more "horizontal"). I bet the "resculpt" / "re-pose" from the Endor pack will change that and everybody will shout at the genius reworking... Cheers Al.

It's THAT huge?!? Wow... I was thinking about 2/3 of that. But thanks, now I know what kind of base I'll have to do to play it like the actual piece!
