i just pulled a sith witch yesterday. not bad as a min but is she from a book or game?

They are mostly from Dathomir(sp?). The actual look is an early concept for who turned out to be a guy named Maul. The Dathomir witches are all force sensitive and mostly quite evil. Oh and they use Rancors as mounts.

They are talked about in the Dark Jedi Source Book (RPG) They were cool when I read about them but now I can't remember why.... Roncor Pets??? That must be it.

I don't remember the Witches of Dathomir being "called" Sith witches. but they certainly meet the description. never mess with a chick throwing force lightning and riding a rancor.

The Courtship of Princess Leia introduces Dathomir. The evil Witches of Dathomir are called Nightsisters, and if I remember correctly I thought the Nightsisters were avoided by the Rancors. But I can see dark side witch becoming Sith Witch. I believe the figure we have is them blended with a concept sketch of a Episode 1 villian (that was later changed to Darth Maul).

Everyone who posted before is correct about the Witches of Dathomir. As far as how she LOOKS: Please take a look a "The Art of The Phantom Menace". When Episode 1 was being made he knew he wanted Palpatines aprentice to be really frightening looking so he told the concept artits to come up with a look for the Sith Aprentice. You will see this lovely lady exactly as a concept painting. George vetoed it saying he wanted a male aprentice....Darth Maul was eventually born. I guess WotC really liked the discarded concept and used it for the mini. Also there is a 6-issue comic book seried that revolves around Darth Maul. Ner the end of the story he fights a Dark Side Witch and she has the same face as the concept...but she didnt have the red robes.
