Cost was about $89 (IIRC) But you get a lot of stuff.

Yeah the lack of walls in the starter sets was a big hindrence, tons of floors few walls, was one of the many many people who asked for long wals to balance Alpha.

Yup i ordered 4 Beta, there may not be that much alpha in that set up, mainly becasue of the shear size and trying to squeeze everything i wanted into it, there are no large open spaces. the only Alpha might be in the power core area, or the Mess.
nothing else has enough open area to do it... Although now that i think about it, to open up the caverns area, i might be able to drop some into that area... but the problem is i need more caverns for the walls. when that comes back in stock with the Beta i'm going to order a few of the Caverns single wall bits. Got tuns of passage, i now need some "rooms" for the caverns.

| | 02/06/2006 4:28 PM | Alert | Wicked Cool the fans are real fans, if your computer ever dies there are many intersting bits to nic from it. The fan is from there for cooling the video card of my old computer. I have another of the same size but keep forgetting to base it.
the Power cores where something i found on the parking lot of work one day, it took me a while to figure out what they are. Champaing corks from really cheap champaing I work at a univwersity and park out by where they load/unload the busses for away games, walking into work one day they had won a big game and it looks like these were the remnaints of a celebration, theyre were about 6 or 7 in the lot grabbed them up becuase they looked interesting. Found items make great scenery elements.

The one on the back wall was made by Grendel/Anisty. The other I made myself out of some bits of wood and gear/weapons bits from the mongoose gangs of mega city one - gang 12 pack.

It Started with Ashla, Ix and Gareth.
Gareth flacked out after about 2 weeks and Ix and Ashla continued on.
to fill in some support there were non recuring NPC's that filled in a as a third person from each world they visited, with a Steady NPC of Jedi Master M'ros (Male Human Jedi Consular/Jedi Master/Jedi Healer me charecter ;) )
Ix was a Male Verpine Jedi Sentinel his player had issues with the wife and kids and around 5th level had to drop out of the game, so it went on Hiatus for a while as we searched for new players.
Which led to the second group Ashla, Kyzera and Rochmar.
Kyzera and Rochmar's players are a couple and played for a good 3 months untill we hit Christmass... they took a break at christmass, and Rochmar shouls be back this week, Kyzera is a student still and has classes on the night we play so she won't be back for a bit.
Rochmar is an Itoran Male Solder/Tech Spec, i think with Ship Jacker Archtype, currently he and Kyzera have nipped off back to the Jedi Concil to report on the progress with Master M'ros.
Kyzera is a Female Faleen Jedi Consular alternativly M'ros or Ashla's padawan, Ashla Really wants one to take the Jedi Master PrC...)
We were always looking to get new players even when Kyzera and Rochmar joined and the week after they had to break two new players joined. Heugo and (crap i can't remember his first characters first name) Vance.
Heugo is a Male Sullustan Tech Spec/Out Law Slicer. Freakin Silly Computer use mod, and the one who hacks into computers downloads the info, and hides when the blaster bolts start flying, he is working on getting a small robot to control to do a bit of fighting for him. (in the Pictures the Nien Numb figure, the guy in Red and Black)
Vance is actually one of the players Second character, his first one was a scoundrel who died of a crit from a weapons emplacment on board a Hutt's ship, the next session he made a new Character Vance a Human Scoundrel/Force Adept (the '99 Metal WotC Human Scoundrel Mini).
There is an NPC in the group right now Goscluag a Neosurian Male Force Adpet/Zeon Sha. He is Vance's "Master" (the Green Mage Knight Dragon Whelp Mini).
Then Lastly the One Character who has been through it all
Ashla a Female Torguta(sp) Jedi Guardian/Jedi Weapon Master (the Shaak Ti mini). | |
