Has anyone tried making an imperial pilot custom? I saw a few that looked like a clone trooper's head (squared off) on a rebel pilot body painted black. Any ideas?

Well you could always chop up a bunch of Baron Fels and give them Clone Trooper heads. [:D]

That´s a pretty expensive convertion! But the most accurate [:D]

Clonetroopers heads in black are really nice, rebel pilots could make the excellent proxy but i begin to hate that strange shooting pose.

I agree, I've actually cut and reposed my 7 or so pilots. I was actually thinking of making a Luke Skywalker rebel pilot with a Luke head and a lightsaber.

That looks realy nice. Lemme take a stab at guessing it. The body wouldn't happen to be Lobster Johnson from the Indyclix line, I've got now idea where the head came from, heavily modded clone trooper perhaps?

Yep. "The Lob" has proven extremely useful as a base for a lot of modded figures.

Yeah, and the breathing tubes are from Major Maxim also from the Indyclix line. We had them left over after we made a Marv (from Sin City) [:D]

Very cool mordantos, I've got a few lobster Johnsons and Major Maxims painted up as Antartic Space Nazis for my Pulp Hero minature collection. What head did you end up using for Marv?

Does anyone know if West End Games had Imperial pilots? Also if you can wait it out, I would almost guarantee a TIE pilot in one of the next two sets of minis.

Yes they did. Unfortunately they are not the same scale as WotC.

This topic makes me think...

Will Imperial pilots bring a new commander effect and works as it was with the pilot evasion and nieb nub not being granted this capability?

Doubt it. They are likely to be followers not Commanders.
The 'Imperial Pilot' with a CE has already been released, and his name is Baron Fel. ΖD]

What we did with that was to mount the WEG figure on 25mm Games Workshops 25mm bases, which are a tad raised. That way all figures had the same size base and the WEGs looked a little taller, blending in better next to the WotC figures.

I am in fact planning on getting back into SWRPG. Its a shame WOTC is cutting the materials even further. SW has the pedigree of great gaming. Anyway, I like the weg minis because they have more generic types of figures. I have a trade thread posted if you guys have some to sell me. Oh, and please call me Jon.
