| | It could be Jedi Master Hoth who fought very tough against the Sith. Until the "thought bomb" killed everyone that is. I think they will stay with one stong Light and Dark side piece a set for awhile. Also you have to remember Lucas approves the minis first. In his mind Revan was a Jedi and not a Sith. So it could be him but I don't see him being made just yet. | | Champion of Jarlaxle Sets: Star Wars Year one complete,44/60 Champions of the Force,0/60 Bounty Hunters | |

| | How can you be sure the new Vader piece does'nt cost 75pts. I doubt there will be a Darth Revan piece myself so I do not think that is the one. If I had to guess on a confirmed figure it would be Darth Bane. | | Evil triumphs when good men fail their morale saves. | |

| That´s boring! another vader... no! I rather a new anakin maybe on speeder but in that fashion he would be cheaper.
There could be two or three with 75 or more points.

| | As boring as it might be there is definately another Vader/Anakin in this set. I also agree with you LuisJoey on multiple high cost figs. The Jedi only get progressively more powerful per set. | | Evil triumphs when good men fail their morale saves. | |

Yeah, Im glad, I didnt like Kotor all that much.
Im hoping it will be a lightside character, in particular Old Republic. We have seen 5 minis so far for the Sith Faction, 6 if the new Maul is in that faction as well. So hopefully the other high cost figure will be a "good guy".

The stats for the Exar you quoted have been released. He doesn't have Force Spirit, instead he has: Dark Force Spirit 1 (if this character is defeated, each enemy character with a Force rating loses 1 Force point each time it activates for the rest of the skirmish) Transfer Essence (Force 1, usable only on this character’s turn: Choose 1 living ally. Remove that ally from play and place Exar Kun in that ally’s space; that ally is defeated.) ...among other things.

| As Exar is known to be one of the two figs over 75 points and we have been told that the new Vader and Nihilis figures aren't going to cost that much it seems pretty likely that its going to be Darth Bane.
On the flip side, if the make the new Mace Windu similar to the older versions in still being an effective melee powerhouse but also give him a quality CE then I could see him costing in the 70's. As such I think he could be a serious contender as well.
No %70 rule. Its not important for 200 point play as none of the figures cost nearly so much as to require one and people do use Vader, JH in 100 point play.
I do hope they don't keep making more and more powerful figures though. I thought Vader JH was where they were planning on capping out with regards to power level and I kind of hope they stick with that so that the older figures don't become underpowered.

| | How often do you see 200 point play? With current rules only one map is allowable for 200 point play as I understand it. Accordingly most tournament in my area are 100 point affairs. That is why I would ask about 70% rule. | | Champion of Cyclops

| I only see 200 point play. No one in my area ever plays 100 points and all the tournaments are 200 as well. The game clearly shifted in design to a 200 point environment when RotS came out.
I was unaware that all but one of the maps were unavailable for 200 point play. Does it say this in the rule book? If you'd be so kind as to provide a page number in the RotS rule book or a link that states this I would appreciate it. | | I wish god were alive to see this.

No, it states this in the DCI Tournament rules (section 604) available on the WotC site (be sure to get the TXT version- the PDF and DOC are incomplete). Right now, the only DCI legal 200pt map is the Revenge of the Sith starter.
The DCI rules are next expected to be updated after the Bounty Hunters release, and there is heavy "Lobbying" to get additional 200 point maps legal.
As long as you are not playing DCI tournamants you can cheerfully ignore the map restrictions and even play on some of the awesome fan-made maps.

| Most of my games are 200 points and up. The only time I play under 200 points is when I'm demonstrating the game to someone. The most I've played thus far is 400 points. Though I've enough figures to start putting some 1,000 point battles together.
