| Some questions about the contents of Attack on Endor. What is at the bottom of the Scouttrooper, stormtroopers? Are they numbered similar to Rebel Storm? or do they have a different numbering scheme?

| | Wow... I was going to say they're likely the same, but after popping out a box... Instead of the usual set icon there's a scout-trooper helmet, the AT-ST is 1/4, the scout 2/4, the trooper 3/4 and the officer 4/4. The cards also bear the scout helm icon and the correct ordering. | |

| Here ya go! I just cut and pasted this from my previous thread I typed up a while ago. It was my review of Attack on Endor [:)]
Im sure this is old news for alot of you since this thing came out months ago. But in case you didnt know heres whats in the box.
The AT-ST mini is a resculpt/repaint. The head is repositioned to look off at an angle. They also put clear blaster bursts comming from the barrels of the main cannon. Its also repainted to be rustier looking and it has mud and moss painted on the feet.
It also comes with 3 re-issued minis from Rebel Storm. Stormtrooper, Stormtrooper Officer and Scout Trooper.
The bases on all 4 minis are different from the originals. Theres even a new set logo that looks like a Scout Trooper's head. Each mini has a set # of 1/4, 2/4, 3/4 & 4/4
Oh and the AT-ST's card has new artwork.
Heres the thing that REALLY took me by surprise. I know the box said it came with 2 double sided poster maps..But I assumed all 4 maps would be Endor related...Thats really wrong. The 4 maps are:
-The Shield Generator surrounded by trees on Endor.
-A Sepratist Base with a wrecked CloneTrooper tank outside the main doors.
-A Rancor pit. Its actually caves with assorted cages to hold rancors and other arena beasts. (This map has D&D potential)
-The inside of the pyramid on Yavin 4. It takes place after the movies so its a hanger bay with X-Wings and Y-Wings, but the other half is Lukes Jedi Temple!
The book that comes with this is pretty much the 4th "Ultimate Missions" book. Its full of scenarios to play using SWM from all the previous sets.
The First is of course Attack on Endor. You Obviously need alot more than the minis that come with the box. You really need assorted minis from Rebel Storm and Universe (yet strangly you dont need Ewoks).
The other Scenarios are:
-Clone Troopers laying Seige to a Sepratist Base
-Assorted Fringe Aliens trying to escape a slave pit. The opposition is other fringe aliens sicking Arena Monsters on them :)
-Lando and Dash Rendar team up with some other fringe minis to take on Guri and the Black Sun (The Endor map is used)
-Kyle Katarn leads new Republic troops and Jedi to protect the jedi temple from Sith Witches and Dark Side Marauders.
-A New Republic Base needs to defend its self from Hordes of Yuuzahn Vong.
The last little surprise is a Star Wars RPG supliment! The back of the book has the RPG stats for the following:
-Admiral Ackbar
-Baron Fel
-Dr.Evazan
-Grand Admiral Thrawn
-Guri
-Kyle Katarn
-Ponda Baba
-Prince Xixor
-BARC Speeders
-Varactyls
-Phase III Darktroopers
I think it was a pretty good deal for only $20. | |
