| Well I dunno what support he has, but you should bear in mind a few things...
1)Savage: being aware that you get to control where the Reek moves due to this ability cannot be overstated... having lots of cheap fodder like Battledroids etc to feed the Reek as you keep your more important figs protected is a good idea...
2)Reek Attack: except for its initial charge, the Reek really can't put out the damage... sure it'll hit, but for what 20/turn? Once it's commited (maybe by a BD sacrifice) send in a beatstick like Maul, Dooku, or Assaj to chop it down... heck even a Destroyer Droid who can make his saves (or is supported by Wat) could take the Reek down 1 on 1!
3)Stats: With an attack 0f +12, the Reek is going to hit most things, BUT with a Defense of 17, he's also going TO GET HIT by a lot more things... calculate your shots so that missing is hardly possible and wear this beast down while your melee beater moves in for the kill...
4)Support: If you see supporting figs for the Reek, why not shoot them down first? Is he trying to use Varactyl Wranglers or Sith Witches to negate Savage? Blast 'em away and watch your opponent's battle plan fall apart... usually a player will add a Reek to draw fire and depend on its size and huge HP to distract you from his other more important figs... Abilities like Sniper and Accurate shot take that capability away quite nicely as you bypass the Reek and shoot down his real key figs.
So what Seperatist minis counter a Reek? -swarms of sacrificial BD to beat the Reek player in activation control, combine fire with and to minimize the Reek's effectiveness as he is compelled to waste a 40 damage attack on a 4 point droid -any multi-attacking character that can do at least 20 dmg/shot, can hit the Reek on say a 5+ or so, and might also have defensive abilities like Shields or Lightsaber Block (Maul, Sidious, Dooku, Assaj, Grievous, Jango, Durge, Droideka, X-1 Viper Droid...) -characters with Accurate Shot (admittedly fringe beaters Boba and Aurra)to take out the Reek's support
One last question: do you think he'll be using Exar Kun? 'Cause if he is, the Reek is not what you should be worrying about! | | LIVENOTONEVIL

I'm pretty sure hes using HK-47 and a Gonk Power droid with it. Is that important? | | Da kewl king of kewl kewlness... who is kewl!

The Reeks biggest weakness. At 51 points, you can use 4pt BDs to position it where you want, and it will have to kill 13 to pay for itself.
In addition to what Mister_Darren said, I would suggest bringing an accurate shooter (like Boba Fett, Young Mercenary) so you can take out the Varactyl Wrangler if he brings it for Empathy.

Definitely bring an accurate shooter. Nothing like exploding a gonk- deny your opponent the extra attack and damage em for 20! [:D]

| Good call Mordantos! Accurate Shot=You Win!
So this is 100 point then eh? May I suggest "HAL" if you have the figs... (Han Rebel Hero, Aurra Sing, Lobot and 4 Jawas)
But anyhoo, it sounds like you're opponent's squad seriously lacks synergy and activation control (not to mention initiative control and other things)True 'dat that HK-47 in 100 point is pretty darn good, BUT if his plan is to keep it behind cover and fire away, brothaaa... Accurate Shot is your best friend!
Other than that, you could draw off the Reek with some sacrificial scrubs and rush HK with some solid mid range beaters like the Jedi Weapon Masters!
Or you could whip out the Cloud City Map, lock yourself in the middle room with Lobot and win by Gambit points...
This is probably all water under the bridge since you've had your game already... How did you do? What did you use? Holla back!

| | I have been having trouble against Bane. Best to stay out of h2h combat, especially since most of the good melee fighters are force users. Soften him up with non force using shooters like Jango. Then if you have your crab droids, move them in for the momentum bonuses at the end. If you let Bane get on you though its going to be bad. With Jango, forget double attack, just shoot and run away if he looks like he will catch you. | | Evil triumphs when good men fail their morale saves. | |

| Yeah, all good suggestions... Bane will tear you apart without even getting in melee thanks to the rage/lightsaber throw combo...
But Bane in 100 points is going to mean that either your opponent is running sub par support and/or you can again beat him in activations...
So keeping out of reach and shooting him (as has been said before) is a solid strategy... but as for specific Seperatists? Hmmm...
I would also support the idea of using Crab Droids... he can only beat down one/turn with Bane, so send them in one at a time after he's activated... and you can use the rest of your points on a Battle Droid Officer and other cost effective shooters to out activate Bane.squad and shoot away his support... Maybe go with this?

You don't- You survive him. [B)] He has phenominal range for someone with a melee attack, he does massive damage and has a ton of hit points.
What he doesn't have is defensive abilities. [}:)] So stay away from him, and shoot with all you got- Depending on the map and how your opponent runs Bane, you might make it.
