| I apologize with my posting of squads but I got to know if they'll fare well against other squads. Since most Force-using Rebellion characters are very hard to get, I decided to focus on one set, being Universe to create a shooter-based Rebel squad.
1xAdmiral Ackbar 1xHan Solo, Rebel Hero 1xPrincess Leia, Rebel Hero 1xLando Calrissian Hero of Tanaab 4xElite Rebel Trooper 2xRebel Officer 1xUgnaught Demolitionist
Just utilizing the main hitters' commander effects to power up both the officers and the troopers. | | But...it was so artistically done-Grand Admiral Thrawn's last dying words

| Nice Squad friend but i have some objective observation and many personal observations:
Objective:
Why put 2 Rebel Officers??? they CFX will not stack, maybe if you are planing make two separate groups in game could be useful, but i rather spend the points in other stuff.
Subjetive:
Ackbar is nice to go over stealth but he must be so close to action that he will die fast!
HAN is the best rebel option this version makes him amazing in combat! Leia Rebel hero is nice but not as great as leia senator that gives you two steps at the end of your movement.
Lando is nice, but is really basic, as you placed Eliter Rebel troopers maybe trade one officer and place the terrible HERO OF TANAAB version.
Well this recomendations, are more a positive critic, and well that depends on what miniatures do you have.
Hope to be helpful in some way. | | Knight of the Quori Champion of King Kaius III of Karrnath

| | Which Lando are you using? | | Pathetic Earthlings. Hurling your bodies out into the void - without the slightest inkling of who or what is out here. If you had known anything about the true nature of the universe - anything at all - you would have hidden from it in terror. | |

| | My mistake. I'm using Hero of Tanaab, seeing how his other version kind of reeks. And LuisJoey, I'll switch Leia Rebel Hero for Senator. However, what should I place in after ridding of Admiral Ackbar and the officers? | | But...it was so artistically done-Grand Admiral Thrawn's last dying words

| You know how is a good character???
LOBOT! He is really terrific in game, use him to bring 4 bespin guard that have high Defense and they don´t worth points for your enemies, they could receive the bonus to shoot. Now he is not so broken by the Satchel Charge but still useful.
A nice character to go is DASH RENDAR is a nice hitter that could benefit from all CFX.
They are Fringe characters... maybe not Rebels but the game keeps really thematic.
New rebel characters are not so good enough, but yoda could make the han solo work very terrible!
If you play rebels remember that they don´t depend on troop if not in unique characters.

| | I'd definatly go with Lobot.... Heck I'd toss in R2D2 for good measure. As far as Lando goes... doesn't his CFX dublicate Leia's CFX? | | Pathetic Earthlings. | No! They even Stack!
Lando gives Mobile attack so you could move shoot and finish your movement, and leia senator gives you TWO MORE squares at the end of the character turn (if he finish 6 sq close to her); you shoot and really hide! at the pure rebel Style!
Another advice... Forget using Luke skywalker, any rebel version is really awful, the best option is him as rebel hero from the Rebel Storm starter! He would be a nice unique troop! | | Knight of the Quori Champion of King Kaius III of Karrnath

| | Luke on Taun Taun is a good fig for the cost. I do not think the other Lukes are awful, they're just unspectacular. Han Solo Rebel Hero is the best piece by far though. | | Evil triumphs when good men fail their morale saves. | |

| Come on!!! luke on tauntaun is the running Shootspot! it´s not worth to place him because he couldn´t do what rebels do, Shoot and Hide.
We really need a good luke skywalker, maybe a useful one from the Episode V in bespin, Shoot and melee lightsaber (+10 damage)... sweet. [:D]
Rebels Are a nice Faction, they are really based on characters making it very thematic each game!!! | | Knight of the Quori Champion of King Kaius III of Karrnath

| | Bespin look would be realy nice. Still want a Jabba's palace Luke with Force Grip though.... Speaking of which how likely is it that they will make a Empire Luke from the Dark Horse series. | | Pathetic Earthlings. Okay, I have to disagree here. For just one more point than the Senator version, Leia RH has 50% more HP, +1 Attack and double the Force. And her CE is great and allows you to do cool things like avoid self destruct, extend cleave range and perform 'infinite' Lightsaber Sweeps (via Luke JK, Obiwan or Aurra)

Um, have you used Luke Skywalker, Young Jedi? You do know he can do Jedi Mind trick in addition to atacking? Sure, it has a limited Range but taking away an enemy figures activation (and ability to make AoOs) is nasty. Plus, Luke Jedi Knight can do some horrorific things to low HP squads when teamed up with Leia RH.

Shoot and hide is one style of Rebel play. But now with Yoda, Tautaun Luke and a Chagrian Mercenary Commander, you can do some devastating Criticals...and thanks to Yoda, you can do them over and over again.

Of course, for the price of Lobot you could bring in a Dressellian Commando, 2 Bespins & Ugnaught... | | | |
