I remember reading somewhere on the boards about the Rancor being put into a scenario pack like the Attack on Endor pack. Was this something real or something somebody was wishing for?

At one time Amazon.com was listing a Rancor attack pack for early 2007 but the product was delayed/cancelled by WotC.

based on the Star Wars update from Gen Con - not sure if the pack is scheduled for later in 2007 because they can't talk about anything after April 2007.

That pack has been cancelled. No info on when it will come back, or IF it will.

May you find peace and happiness at the hand of Hextor.

Darn! I'm not going to pay much for a rancor, it still might come - but it's truly an evil deed if WotC first announced the pack and then drew it back! Boo!

The only good thing I see in this is that there's no AAT in BH, so I might well be able to trade some of my custom stuff for a rancor...

WotC never announced anything. Amazon has access to their release schedual long before WotC announces anything and it sometimes causes problems.

Amazon was the only site that said a Rancor set was comming.

I couldn't think that the Rancor -idea was from nowhere - but it just came to my mind that Rancor is still one of the things that sells Universe - many people want several At-St's - and if there's still Universe to sell, there's no good reason to put Rancor out.

Whether the product got nixed by WotC or LFL or is simply delayed to another quarter is unknown.
