Posted on the WotC Star Wars Minis forums by WizO_Tao: Alright ladies and gents, here's the deal. Wizards will be forced to raise the cost of all miniatures products effective 22 September, 2006. The prices will be as follows: Booster Packs: $14.99
Huge Packs: $21.99 This is the direct result of global economic pressure and production cost increases (remember, plastic is an oil based substance...), though the overall costs are still competative with similar products. I doubt that anyone is really happy about the announcement (I have to buy my minis just like everyone else), but its a sad fact that everything is getting more expensive these days. Unfortunately, even the minis market is affected. |
