I pre-ordered 2 cases of bounty hunters from a company. They accepted payment and told me they would ship when it was released.
Now they have raised the prices by $7 per case becuase of wizards raising their prices.
Even though they accepted payment a few weeks ago, they want me to either pay another $14 or cancel my order. I know its not alot of money but i could get a better deal on ebay rather than pay the extra money.
Is it legal for them to charge me more money
weeks
after they have accepted my payment?

It probably depends on the terms of sale. Did you check out the fine print? Maybe it says that the sales price is an estimate and subject to change.

No there was nothing there mentioning a change in price possibility when i bought it. Now if i go there it says that the price has been increased, but it didnt say that it might increase when i payed for it.

If that is the case then you have a legitimate gripe.

Most places do not actually charge you until your order is ready to ship to avoid this type of situation. While it doesn't seem fair to charge you more after you have paid, do you think it is fair for the business to have to take the loss? They could not have foreseen the price increase anymore than you could.

gameoutfitter.com just sent me the same type of message. And yes, they stated that they wouldn't charge my credit card until the cases actually shipped. So I suppose they are within their rights to increase the prices.
I was actually kind of impressed that they sent me an email explaining the increase, and allowing me to alter my order if I wanted to.
