Hey All,

I am hearing from a reliable source that Wizards is out of Champions of the Force and there are no plans for a reprint.   I have just received this information and wanted to see if anyone else could confirm it.

Thanks,
Jared

I have'nt heard anything about it. However CotF has been there best selling set yet, so it seems odd that that they would take such a popular product out of circulation so soon. It might have something to do with the release being in waves.

Sounds like speculation to increase prices to me. Can anyone check with WotC?

Just to be clear, this statement isn't directed at me personally I hope?

At any rate I spoke with WOTC and the said their stock is "very very low."

So that leaves us with no it is not out of print, but will be very soon.

And I agree, having it be out of circulation so soon is a real drag.  Many of our customers do not have half the set yet.  Here's hoping for a reprint.  Not having enough product of a new release to last 4 months is bad business.

That doesn't sound good.

But with the next set scheduled for April/May, how can they not reprint CotF?  BH on it's own isn't enough to cover the huge gap.

Just spoke with my distributor and they confirmed that WotC has made their "Last call" for CotF. Looks like it is going to be a long wait until May...

Looks like there's a few VRs to pick up before the price skyrockets then.

Dang. Well this cant be good. I barely got any of the CotF I wanted. And I cant really afford BH with Bloodwar around the corner.

Nobody ever buys the CotF packs out at the store I go to. I hope they're not going to spend all their time in Star Ship Battles and stop making miniatures til Rebel vs. Empire. Uhh! I wish I started collecting a year ago! Hell Ebay.
