| I have these little boxes to hold the SWM cards. I have a box for each faction.
Fringe has completly filled the box and a second box is almost half way.
Maybe there are enough Fringe minis...at least for a set. Espeially after the Fringe-dominating set Bounty Hunters.
What do you guys think of having a SWM set that is Fringeless to give other factions a chance to catch up at least a little? | | Champion of the Skulk Vindicated Champion of the Twig Blight

| Agreed, they should do a better job of supporting the new factions they have been intorducing to the game. Sadly it's the Fringe minis that have to fill those slots to make decent warbands.
Fringe minis are just too useful for RPG and warband building to cut out of a set. They could certainly cut back though in favor of minis of other factions.

| I love the Fringe. It is easily the best non-faction Faction in the game. From an RPG standpoint many characters are often dealing with someone outside the established order. A second major point is that most of the "alliens" are in that faction.
In skirmish I'd say that most of the defined factions can do things better than the fringe making the neutrals over costed. I will agree that the minor factions could use better support but does it really help the skirmish game if all those new minis are just resculpts of current minis. When I look at some of the "established" factions I quickly notice that there are four or more scuplts for idendical skirmish pieces in many cases. Is this what we'd want to expand our minor factions?
I'd say the answer for some of the minor factions is add more crossover. Make a figure that allows the New Republic to use Rebel pieces. For the Sith or Old Republic they could use figures that bring in the non-unique force users from other factions to bolster their ranks.

| | I'd rather not see the next set fringless per say, there are still quite a few classic SW figures I'd like to see. | | Ash nazg durbatulûk, ash nazg gimbatul, ash nazg thrakatulûk, agh burzum-ishi krimpatul | |

Classics is what we are schedualed to get.
In case you didnt get the news..It was said at GenCon that after the Starship set in November the next SWM set wont be until March 2007. The set name is unknown but the theme will be Classic Trilogy again.

| | Rebel Storm II, that sounds most excellent. Perhaps we will see a new version of Jabba in this set. | | Ash nazg durbatulûk, ash nazg gimbatul, ash nazg thrakatulûk, agh burzum-ishi krimpatul | |

| | I think a new Jabba is quite likely considering all the Bounty Hunter minis that refrence him. | | | |

Terribly, at least for me. I wouldn't buy any of it.
I -would- like to see them give the Rebels more stuff. Of the 3 factions I collect (Rebel, Imperial, and Fringe), Rebels are far outnumbered, even by the Imperials. | | My H/W list is not current... Trade Reference List OLD Trade references (191)

| Fringe is were you place characters with a no very importance relevancy to the movies, like utapau, wookies, etc.
Champions of the force was the set with less Fringe (most of them commons) and now bounty hunter is the set with most fringe because is based in those characters apart from any faction.
Some fringes are still needed, but not too much, maybe 5-8 per comming sets. | | Knight of the Quori Champion of King Kaius III of Karrnath

| Fringes I'd still like to see....
Another Jawa.... maybe with a pike or melee weapon with bonus vrs droids, repair possibly.. A Human ex-jedi knight, some sort of fringer or scoundrel with 1-2 force and the lightsaber ability. Hut gangster with a hand cannon(i.e. big pistol for 20damage). More SWD20 iconic character
