After cracking open our BH cases my friend and I discussed what could have been included in this set(which I am nick-naming the Cantina set).  Ewoks were one of the first thing we came up with.  Would the game be better served if the Ewoks came through the Rebellion faction rather than fringe?  It would give the rebel players a bit more to pick and choose from.

Pathetic Earthlings. Hurling your bodies out into the void - without the slightest inkling of who or what is out here. If you had known anything about the true nature of the universe - anything at all - you would have hidden from it in terror.

I agree 100%. There are way to may Fringe compared to any of the other factions.
Ewoks really should have been Rebellion just to beef up the # of choices for the faction.
The Mon Calamari in Rebel Storm should have been rebellion as well...especially since he is wearing the uniform of the calamarians serving under Admiral Ackbar. If they were mercenaries they should have looked different.

The Mon Calamari placement seemed particularily odd to me, definetly should have been a Rebel piece.

In principle they are fringe because they are their own independent tribe, they didn´t understand what is the rebelion itself, But for game purposes Ewok characters should be rebels, because they bring good things for sure like CFX or abilities.

I remember the pre-ugnaught era when the 3pts filler was the ewok, it was funny to see the empire or separatist armies with this guys to open doors, we still need another door opener for 3 pts.

I´m planning to run in my FGLS a ATTACK ON ENDOR EVENT and i put the old ewoks with stealth for free encouraging people to field them, maybe a ewok character should have a CFX like that over ewoks!

Stealth makes sense for the little buggers, maybe a chieftain could give them stealth as a CFX....

And had they done that, then the Mon Cals could not have been played with New Republic...

Prior to CotF, any figure that WotC could see going to more than one faction became Fringe.
Post CotF I expect to see more figures in a particular faction with Affinity to another faction.

I just wish the Viper had Affinity instead of being Fringe. A decent peice for Empire or New Republic (who were the ones who fielded it), it is verging on borken when used with Seps droid synergy...

And I am not surprised in the least that a set called Bounty Hunters has a large number of Fringe.

Yup, I can attest to that.

Viper Droid with General Grevious SC & Battle Droid Commander = Awsome

Add in Wat Tambor's Droid mark and it's priceless.
