i was chatting with my fellow moderator "meowpao" from our own philippine boards and he mentioned about his girlfriend picking boosters for him bacause she gets to pick the best from the lot without "cherry picking". maybe just the feel of the force. (joke)
i didnt believe him at first but then i decided to try it.
i let my wife pick 2 boosters from a lot of 18 boosters from a particular store. i just informed her that i want a vader as much as possible from the bounty hunter set.
she carefully looked at the box art and picked 2 boosters. one booster had a luke of dagobah and the second was a lord vader.
i was not surprissed. i was SHOCKED beyond belief!
can you share your personal superstition or stories on SWM games and booster pickings?

Well...normally I always go with the first one I spot...if not I'm always asking myself...I wonder what was in the first one I saw...it's not worth the inner turmoil to do it any other way. | |

Pulling 3 VR's from Clone Strike on the same day would seem like good luck right? I got 3 General Greaviouses. I wasnt too happy.

| | 06/17/2007 8:02 PM | Alert | | i like what mace-windoom said. i do the same thing. right before i get a booster pack or if i just bought it on the internet, i look on wizards.com for the database. i click on the right set and stare and think about how much fun it would be to have a certain rare or veryrare, mabey an uncomon. normally i get that one or a better one. once i had my sister pick one for me. the guy i wanted was on the front pic. i didn't think id get then, but she picked so i did. AND I GOT WHAT I WANTED! it was soooooooooooo cool. she has about thirty or so guys right now and shes ten. what luck! that is my superstition but i call it a secret! | |
