I really like the old republic faction, but nowdays is not useful in competitive game, maybe if you depend on fringe you could get some results, but alone the old republic needs more; i suggest the next:

What laceName w:st="on">OldlaceName> laceType w:st="on">RepubliclaceType> needs:

Common & Uncommon:

Jedi Lightsaber Duelist (a catwoman miniature with a double light saber, from kotor 1)

Jedi Master (Lightsaber Deflect, Block, lightsaber sweep, Jedi Mindtrick; Force Mastery 2; CFX non unique force user characters within 6 squares gain attack +2 defense +2)

Jedi Healer (Heal 30 for 2 Force points)

Jedi Scout (Stealth, lightsaber assault, Force Leap)

Jedi Scholar (Maybe an ithorian with a orange lightsaber, or a generic yocasta; Force alter; Force instruction; gives 1 force point to a non-unique living character)

Jedi Bodyguard (Bodyguard, Lightsaber Reflect, lightsaber Block)

Jedi Lightsaber Master (an generic alien, maybe a twilek with two lightsabers; twin attack, light saber assault, light saber riposte)

Jedi Investigator (a Generic jedi with Force sense, Disruptive)

The simple answer is a figure that will let you bring in Non-unique Jedi from the Republic and New Republic.

Jedi have remained relatively similiar through the ages and I don't see how the NR's Young Jedi would be any different from one during the Old Republic.

Yes i though that, specially about the Jedi Weapon master that works excellent in any army.

But the Old republic and New republic jedi are pretty different, because the education was diferent, new republic jedi were trained in several paths and it was less strict, old republic jedi grows in orders with pure specializations like the jedi scholars, jedi consular, jedi sentinel, etc.

Old republic don´t rely on fire power, more in melee force users, the fire power is a support to them.

Of course Jedi from both the Old and New Republics could fight darksiders (from the appropriate Era) that have identical statistics.

I'm not well versed in the "old" jedi but have read a number of the New Republic era books. As far as skirmish abilities go the jedi seem very interchangable without breaking any one faction. The jedi ideals in the Old and New Republics may be different but for skirmish they probably translate very similiarly.
