| | 11/16/2006 9:44 PM | Alert | Actually no the NEXT set is due out the Day After Thanks giving the 24th of November and is the Star Ship Battles game the set after that isn't due out till i think some time in 2007.
The Rebellion or Alliance vs Empire set isn't on the list for Jan 2007, Unhallowed a D&D set is out in March so Maybe it might be in Feb but i would bet on April/May. | |

| | 11/18/2006 7:24 PM | Alert | You can be as sorry as you like buy your are wrong Godsfist, you can try to argue it on semantics but you are wrong becuase they are miniatures amd WoTC is marketing it as part of the SWM line, but you are right that it is not a character set..
While Star Ship Battles may not be a character miniatures set it is a miniatures set being released by WotC, for Star Wars and it is the next set due out. Since the same factory that makes it makes the D&D, and the Axis and Allies minis and there are other sets in those other lines are being release between now and then and the SW production staff at WotC is as VERY small part of the Company, it means that
A) we aren't going to SEE ANYTHING about the next Character set untill the Ships set is gone, and B) we get closer to the next set after the Ships.
While you (and others) may not like/be interested in the Ships game, the Fact that it is being released next, and it is a miniatures set is still true.
WotC is calling it a Miniatures set, so if you have issues with them not being Miniatures take it up with them.

With the work force at WotC dedicated to SW being so small it means that there isn't going to be another SW Character set for some time, the resources just aren't there. Add to that the fact that they are releasing another RPG core book in March of 2007 my guess would be that the next after the ships set won't be till Feb (near the end) or April to tie in with that release. It isn't in Dec or Jan becuase that list of products is common knowledge.
