Short version...

Obi-wan died, gave his force to luke, jedi knight. The person i was playing against moved luke then used lightsaber sweep 2x to make 2 attacks. When i argued he said that becuase the force spirit lets luke use force 2x per turn he could use sweep twice.

I thought this was wrong becuase sweep replaces attacks and so you can only use it once regardless of how many times you can spend force.

So my question is... If you can spend force 2x per turn, can you use sweep twice even though it replaces attacks?

I'd say no, because you cannot replace attacks twice.  He could have re-rolled one of the attacks or used another non-attack replacing force power.  Such as Force leaping into a cluster of foes and then Lightsaber sweeping.  He cannot lightsaber sweep twice in the same phase.

Yeah, so do i. Unless it says it has double attack, triple attack, twin attack, etc. then i dont' think it's legal. Did the the character have one of those?

The only way you could get around that is with a CFX or other ability that would give Luke another attack, like dominate fer instance.

CFX : short for Commander Effect.  The one I'm think of of would be the Imperial Officer who can give an additional attack at the end of his move.

He runs with Imperials then?  The most basic use for the Officer is to move the Heavy Stormtrooper into position, then activate the officer and order the trooper to fire.

without anyone like the emperor or vader, what are other good squads of 150 that are pretty dominate.
