i have been loking at a trying to make a good bane squad for a long time and have come up with darth bane sly moore 4x twileck bodyuards total-150 I like the idea of bane getting three rolls at the dominate from sly moore whith banes master of the force ability.the body guards keep every one alive and the idea of bane getting to move 12+ squares and still getting to activate because of dominate seems pretty good. What do you guys think?whould you put in more activations? Also i would like to see what everyone els puts with bane.

I have not used Sly Moore that much since they nerfed Dominate.  If you still want to go that route I'd sugest the B' omarr MonkFor four more points you get 2 more defense and a +4 melee attack dealing 20 damage.

i actually like sly moor better. In eairlier old school style play i often tried to use this to dominate big jedi(mace windu, darth maul, and eventually the strong vader)and i really dont think the melee attack from monk will help. I think for the 4 points sly moore gives you more pionts to help activations and support.I know this squad isnt the best but it could be verry effective for the move and then dominate stradagy.Or for the assualt than dominate statagy.

Nerfed? Please explain....

Originaly Dominate was 100% reliable when you used on your own pieces, you would choose to fail the save.  It was then errated that the figures did indeed have to make a saving throw, even if they were under your control at the time.  Granted it's only a 50/50 chance, but given how my luck runs with dice.  The less rolls I have to make the better.

I always thought it was that way (they have to roll).....still a pretty cool ability, but pretty pricey for a 50/50 like you said.

Originaly my friends and I didn;t even use Dominate on enemy pieces.  The wording on it is very frustrating.

Dominate is confusing, and annoying if your opponent knows how to exploit it.

Evil triumphs when good men fail their morale saves.
