| | 03/05/2007 8:01 AM | Alert | | Rebel Storm was my favorite set, so I actually prefer the classic saga. I also prefer square bases, hopefully they will add formation rules to make use of them. As far as Biggs, I doubt this set will have as many obscure charcters as Bounty Hunters. I guess the closest thing to a dislike I have is the Stars Wars logo on the base, but I'll paint over it rather than whine about it. I don't understand why everybody wants to condemn this set four months before it even comes out. We have only seen the catalouge info so far, thers not enough facts to pass a judgement. | | Evil triumphs when good men fail their morale saves. | |

| | 03/05/2007 2:57 PM | Alert | | can i add another category. lack of information on sets. we know the next 2 sets for ddm and have seen previews and artwork for both of them. for star wars we have seen obi and if you were seaching you can find a picture of the new luke. a preview every few weeks wouldnt kill them or more inofrmation about upcoming sets wouldnt hurt. everyone blames lucas for the secrecy but im not believing the hype. Why would he care so much about this little insignigant toy line when he had had almost every character already made into action figures, video games, tshirts, etc. | | The ROCK layeth the smacketh down. | | 03/07/2007 7:17 PM | Alert | I'm not a huge fan of the square bases- but for me its some of the stupid characters - like "Force Spirit" Kenobi, I like the sculpt (from what I've seen), but it just seems silly and like it will end up being stupid.... I don't know, its still a while off! | | | |

I also love building classic "themed" squads, so I weclome the "old is new again" thing. As for the bases, I don't like them because I see them as looking really stupid on 3-D terrain, which I play on a lot.

I use my Lando Calrissian, dashing scoundrel for hiding behind a door, and when someone gets near, I just use his mobile attack to open the door, shoot, and close the door again. And if anyone gets a clear shot at him I can always use his evade to dodge it.

| | 08/04/2007 6:33 AM | Alert | The thing I hate about A&E were the number of reprints and the number of duplicate characters. I don't mind having Han ST, Han Rogue and Han on Taun Taun, but no all in one set. As for the reprints, it wouldn't have been much effort to adjust the stats slightly so we had a new piece.
As for lesser characters such as Biggs Darklighter, fantastic! I don't mind any character so long as they are from STAR WARS, but I would personally prefer movie characters such as Biggs, Muftak & Kabe than the likes of Mara Jade & Thrawn. I mean, we don't even have Jar Jar Binks yet we have two of Mara Jade. C'mon, Jar Jar was a major movie character and was in three movies! | | "No disintegrations? The glider could maybe be a rare, but then he should be the only ewok in the set. | | Official Delegate, Wizards of the Coast Against The Giants Called Shot: Huge Green Dragon Icons Called Shot: Gargantuan Prismatic Dragon

| | 08/30/2007 6:38 PM | Alert | I am not much of a fan of Expanded Universe stuff, so I for one am very happy with the new set. Yes, it has too many versions of the same old characters, but at least they're GOOD versions.....Yellowjacket Luke rocks! Especially with Obi Wan, Force Spirit and Wedge to back him up....speaking of Wedge, he actually makes Biggs a worthwhile choice for a Rebel squad by giving him Evade...
I also like what they've done with the Ewoks as well. When used with an Ithorian Commander, they can be quite effective....Jabba helps out a lot here too....just too bad he's only got Speed 2 and can never keep up to the pack...
