Looks like they are focusing on the Saga edition previews right now.

I imagine we'll start seeing the previews in May. The Saga rulebook is going to get lots of preview time because they are trying to draw players back to the game. WotC never got the same kind of fan support that WEG did. These new streamlined rules won't bring back the WEG purists but maybe they'll convert some of the miniature players.

I know that I'm going to give the new rules a shot. I think there are a lot of SWM players who want to use their figs in RPG games, and the more compatibility there is, the better.

I'll be likely trying this out myself.  I'm not a fan of the D20 system overall, but it looks like they have done some neat stuff with the new edition.

Is an amazing picture

The bases doesn´t look that bad at all, just a little bulky as they look in dreamblade.

A scan of the checklist made it onto the WotC boards for a little while (apparently due to a Spanish distributor who shipped with a horribly incorrect street date to stores), but it was yanked.

Man I'm surprised to see New Republic and Vong on the list. Will be happy to expand the Vong force though. I did not like them at first but they make a fun squad. It looks like the NR is Mara Jade, Jedi, who I'm pretty sure is on the ad. Any confirmation on that?

Wow, I'm really looking forward to the fringe on this set. Snivvians, chadra fans, and talzs. I can finally retire my WEG minis. New jawas, especially the ronto are also great for my games. Oh whats the deal with 390 and R2, combined on a large base perhaps?

Actually from this photo it looks like they have squeezed them both on a Medium base.

I was excited to see the combined mini, whether large or medium.

Then I saw the stats, and it went to the top of my want list (yes, more exciting than a new Luke or Han for me).

Now, I see the fig, and it's definitely staying at the top.

Looking very much foward to the new set.  I haven't been this excited about a set since Champions of the Force (which is what got me into the game to begin with).

Looks like a great piece. I'm surprised to see so many spoilers on this set. SW usually doesn't get this kind of leakage.

Obi Wan is very cool. A very nice Rebel Luke booster. Have you folks seen the stats for Yavin Hero Luke Skywalker? Aside from low attack bonus, he is very good.

Dude those all look like good buys. With the lower cost I may use Boba more, and for eight points the Obi Wan spirit can't be beat. The rebels are going to get a shot in the arm with this set. I've been long awaiting a Mara jedi, Iwonder what her stats will look like.
