Could someone please explain activetion I never have understood it and none of my friends that play understand it either so we play without it but I want to try something new.

Activation is when you use a character for do something in game or stay where they are.

Each Round (you roll initiative) every player have 2 turns activating two characters, then they become activated.

Advantegeous attack, Cunning Attack and opportunism takes importance over this concept, because they work before and after characters activations.
