Can anyone give me a clue on how case distribution works for SWM?

How many of each common/uncommon should I wind up with?

About how many VRs are in a case?

I am interested in getting a case of KOTOR, but would like to have this information to make a decision on.

Not sure if you got this answered yet, but distribution of a case is:  3 of each common.  1.5 of each common.  half have 1 half have 2 and then you should recieve 4 vr and 8 Rares.

I've gotten cases in the past and I'm pretty sure they have four VR's in them.  However for the last SW Huge set I got a case with no VRs at all.

Pathetic Earthlings. Hurling your bodies out into the void - without the slightest inkling of who or what is out here. If you had known anything about the true nature of the universe - anything at all - you would have hidden from it in terror.

Hmmm. Well I am mainly after Uc/C in this set (with 3 Rares I want and wouldn't mind getting a Lucien Draay). So, it may be better just to get singles. I was thinking about buying a case, keeping the Uc/C/R/VR I wanted and selling off the rest to hopefully break even (or make a few bucks!).

What do y'all think?

I would buy the case, keep what you ant, and then either trade/sell the rest to get the remaining R/VRs you want.

Well, the only rares I want are Chancellor Palpatine (noble/noncombatant), Mission Vao (tiefling!) and Jarael (moon elf adventurer), which might wind up being cheap rares, but I wouldn't mind gettinga  Lucian Draay.  I am mainly after Uc/C in this set.

Well, with a case, you're guaranteed to get the C/Uc you want.

Depending on your VR, you could end up making enough to pay for the whole case.  Vr usual range from around 10 to 40 dollars depending on what you pull.  Although some have been less and some more, but that is the average.  Rares lately have been around 3-8 dollars lately although later on, after the set is out, the high end drops down to 5.    Star wars usually you can find cheap c/u because the vr make up the difference.   Again it is a gamble that could pay off or not.  odds are you will pull 2 of your wanted rares.  I would say that if you have enough of the c\u wants then go for it.  I think if you shop around you could safely say after selling your VR  and R alone you should be paying close to 40-50 dollars max for the case.  that is bare minimum.  If you get the better VR then you should make a profit and keep all the figs you want.

plus rares you can pick up for 5 dollars or less later on usually.  Even the good ones.  Vr's are a very different problem though.Â

Huge distribution is really random in star wars.  They dont seem to have their act together real well there.   But the regular sets seem to be pretty well distributed lately, with a few of the typical errors once in a great while.Â
