| The larger maps will be very nice. I'd love some more outdoor terrian for SWM.
Come to think of it are these maps going to bestandard size or Huge friendly? I'd assume the latter, given we are getting an AT-ST with it. | |

| There is a group out there hoping that the AT-ST isn't just an alternate pose, but also alternate Faction- Rebel to be specific (the wookiee/ewok captured AT-ST from RotJ).

| | I finally got an AT-ST, and I'm really disappointed in it -- the proportions are WAY off. The art is accurate (the "head" being larger and the legs shorter), but the model itself has such a tiny head and looong legs that it just looks goofy. | |

Oh, absolutely agree on the CS Destroyers (but really, there wasn't much they could do with the pose- they nailed it the first time)

| The Pose on Darth Tyranus is kinda annoying for me, his 'saber is so close to the ground it props the mini on it's side. Also the face and features on Dooku are clearer and more Christopher Lee than Tyranus, who looks more like genero-old guy.
I could do without the foam hand but taking into account the models posture and clairity I have to go with Dooku. | |

That is a little strange that they would have an Endor set with no ewoks. I'm thinking we haven't got all the facts just yet.
There has got to be ewoks.... Who would the Troopers fight???

Well, I could suppose Rob was lying to us when he said no ewoks. I don't know what his motivation would be. Besides, it is called Attack on Endor, so it may just contain the attacking forces...

In what way? They already have the sculpt, they just reposition it- presto! New product to put in the Endor Pack. People who have to collect evey variation will buy it, people who just want an AT-ST will buy it. Personally, I am glad as it has kept the secondary market prices for AT-STs down. | | | |

| Huh, I checked my AT-STs and I really don't get how they could just "re-position" it without re-sculpting. The only things they could manage before gluing the thing together are:
1- Cockpit "looking" sideways
2- Cannons turned in another direction (well, both my AR-STs are already different form that pov)
3- ...
I really think they'll re-sculpt, or leave it as such. Legs positions can't be changed without resculpting (or bending them "tripping on rolling woodchunks" lame-o-style).

My guess would be we'll start getting a mix soon after this. The only thing I'm abit worried about is that it HAS TO SELL. I'll admit with such a hiatus I hope it does and seels very well at that. The saving grace should hopefully be huge friendly maps. | |

I really like that character, he seems honorable for a sith :).
As for the AT-ST i definitely hope it's Imperial faction. If its for rebels, i personally won't be interested. | |

| I'm not too worried about the rebels, while the troops themselves are not great, they said the faction would get back up in the next sets. One thing they need the most is an Anti-tank missle (like the assault class in Battlefront).
Trouble with putting a unique at-st for the rebels is that...fluff wise it can't be used in many scenarios: rebels didn't use AT-ST as far as i know. We'd start seeing rebel AT-ST's everywhere. It's much better to leave such a stapple vehicle to the faction it belongs to.

I really don't look to the game to enforce fluff. As it stands, dead characters can fight characters who weren't even born when they were alive etc. It it up to the players to decide what level of fluff they want to enforce.
And the rebels were know to used scavanged vehicles. Don't see why a single AT-ST would be an exception. And the Rebel specific vehicles are likely in Bounty Hunters.

Well, it being a unique would prevent it from being used in multiples and we don't even know the final stats. And one reason we see the proliferation of AT-STs is that the Empire has the Commander Effects to make them more effective.

You obviously don't care as much for the fluff as i do. We don't do "free for all" types fo game here. So Grievous is not going to fight Darth Vader and there is not enough Chewbaccas to fight the empire at-st's all over the galaxy. Games are what -you-, as a player, make it. Just a divergeance of opinion on what is "fun".
As for the rocket launcher, it's pretty boring to have to rely on the same character (and a classic one at that) for all maps that include an at-st. Having a rebel vehicle or non-unique troop with an AT weapon would solve the issue and look better for an army theme.
I don't know what you mean with the viper droid thing...it just doesn't make sense.

| Why not make it either faction. They could print a card for use as an Imperial alt pose AT-ST or as a captured Rebel AT-ST. Who is to say that the Rebels on other planets have not caputered one to use... Who is to say that after the battle on Endor, some rebels didn't take it to hunt down some lone Imperials...
I say print up both cards and make it useable for both factions. | |
