| Since "Star Wars Miniatures Info World" (Maxmini's "news" link) doesn't seem to be updating, here is an image of the Attack on Endor Box that was posted to a group I belong to:

| Hey, is this reddish thing a blaster shot ?! Lame... even more so than the dreaded Foam Finger of dear ol' Count Dooku...
Anyway, it looks easy to snap off from the actual AT-ST, so I don't mind... either it looks good and I'm OK, or I'll cut it and then it'll look good!
From the side of the box (yeah, I know... another "side of the box thread"), there are 3 minis coming with it, from top to bottom: scout trooper (mini from Rebel Storm, no new sculpt [}:)]), two stormies (the bottom one is an existing sculpt for sure, I don't remember where from and I'm too lazy to look it up, the middle one is to blurry to get a decent look at).
Basically, that is a re-pack of existing stuff. Not that great if you ask me... even if I'll buy two for sure. I know the SWM brand wasn't expected to have so much success, but right now I can't buy ANYTHING SW as all distributor stocks in Belgium are empty (nothing, as in no starters, no boosters, no AT-AT, nothing). If the next product coming along is that simple pack, well, that's not much to say the least. Disappointed.

| Been busy with work lately... combined with the season, just no time
Also anyone know if the price on Champions of Force Really is $19.99?
I got the old and new WotC cats, and thile CoF should be in the latese (first month) the only refrence to it is on the Bounty Hunters page, and BH says $19.99 and Huge, a blurb about CoF on the same page lists it's price at $19.99 but don't know if that is WoTC and there record for Cut and paste errors or what...

| I like the blaster fire. Remember this is just a quick try for the Ultimate missions books. As is it stinks to get all rehashes but I'm sure if it's supported enough to get more made(map packs or whatever they want to call'em). We can tell them we'd rather see something new instead of retreads. They've listened so far anyway.
Genghis, Wizards likes to put the price of starters down for early product. If you check out DDM WotDQ You'll see WD listed the same way. | | Champion of Jarlaxle Sets: Star Wars Year one complete,44/60 Champions of the Force,0/60 Bounty Hunters

Agreed. There would be a huge uproar on a price increase for a nonhuge set. Huge uproar. Huge figures... there's a pun in there, somewhere. I just know it. [:o)]

No, actually they said the AT-ST would be "re-posed", whatever that means...

My understanding is that it means they reposition the master that the molds are based off (turn the head, bend a limb etc.)

No you can see the "head" is tilted downwards and cocked to the side as well. Something the first should of had. | | It seems they are actually pictures of the Commando on speeder bike and (most likely) Scout trooper on speeder bike, just like the AT-AT box had Snow troopers on the back picture. | | Completed Trades: -Eric the God; 7 miniatures, 5/5 -LCS; 1 miniature+tiles, 5/5

Endor has nothing exciting to offer to someone who doesn't sleep with teddy bears, I say.

Since the figures have been all but confirmed as Stormtroopers, I find it unlikely.

| | I guess that this pack would be like and mission pack for The Huge version, adding existing things that nobody would refuse a AT ST (everybody likes them and want more of them) and 3 stormies for filler (sad i would like other thing like wicket or other) but the center point would be the maps (endor battle for sure) and maybe something added like a dice or something else. | | Knight of the Quori Champion of King Kaius III of Karrnath

Exactly. This replaces the Ultimate Missions series: 1. Has twice the maps 2. Still has scenarios (generally considered weak in the UM line) 3. Has a Huge figure 4. Has grunt figures 5. Costs less! Can't see how it won't be a winner. If you don't need the figures, sell or trade them (and there are non-WotC SWM players who want Stormies and AT-STs) and the cost for the Maps/Scenarios is even less.

Wow, that's a first. I always hear people wanting it for the Maps first, AT-ST second and the scenarios are almost an after thought (probably disillusioned with how poorly balanced the UM ones were...)

| When is that thing out, actually ? Been lookin' it up on WotC, and I just found out it was out in "February". Anyone knows more... ? If that thing was really released in the next four weeks, shouldn't there be some kind of update on WotC's, with the contents and stuff... They are really trying to kill our interest, I tell you...

| I'm looking for something I can use with my own little version of DDM. An Endor Forest map w/o the generator would be great! A dagobah swamp map would rock as well. But, they will probably put a generator right in the middle of it all.

While it hasn't been explicitly stated, I think the Endor maps were generated after the promise of more huge-friendly maps.
So, hopefully our AT-STs will have room to roam [)]

| Maybe it should be more friendly to huge but it must have lots of difficult terrain not for cover if not to make huge move a little bit slower, beacause having a huge at close combat fast could be really nasty!
Well is a Forrest lots of trees and bushes could do great! The scout trooper would be work excellent! and nom anor would be very nasty in that place. | | Knight of the Quori Champion of King Kaius III of Karrnath

And they were probably designed in a hurry to cover the lack of anything new between Set 4 and 5... so I don't expect anything that was actually playtested...
