| | Updated, All the Republic pieces are starting to tick me off. They're nice and all but I want NR and OR pieces. Dang the Rep's and Sep's have had 2 set dedicated to them and it's looking like the Republic is getting a third set given to them. | |

First:
Kashyyk Clone trooper, i was taking a tub a while ago and i was thinking; clone troopers are really ugly they pose are really dull i want a better clone trooper, now i come and see; THIS IS AN IMPROVEMENT, well is not a common clone trooper but have the useful mobile attack (with gree CFX they don´t generate AoO) And the Double Attack making him useful but not really synergic with his abilities, you have to choose them wisely on game, i was thinking this guys would have Stealth.
Second:
Jedi Weapon Master, Really good guy nice abilities and force abilities, he would fit the republic jedi necesities, very versatile until his force powers go out XD | |

when I saw the set list for universe i thought the same thing especially about the vong but when i pulled warmaster my attitude changed completely. His stats were just great. | |

| | Alright, did anybody read Ulic's commander effect? Are Mandolorians a faction all their own? That's kind of strange I thought. Anyway, Ulic looks to be a pretty powerful figure, and I really like his sculpt. There seems to be a lot of muscle in the sith faction. I hope we will see some of the old republic jedi soon. | |

Much debate on that- personally, I don't think so. I suspect it will be a descriptor like Wookiee, (where Gree can pull them from any faction.). Maybe they will errata Jango so he can be pullled in.

| According to Rocket Ranger on the Wizards site. He's been given some info including rarity breakdown and maybe even the set list. I give what he has listed. OR 6 slots Bastila(VR), Sith 13 slots Bane, Kun, and Droma (VR) He hasn't posted rarity on Nihilus and Malak yet. Oh and he's added another Sith Trooper at slot 17(I will add this as well).
Republic 14 slots no VR yet rares are Offee, Bacara, Cody, Gree, Windu, and Qui-Gon. An additional note he has RC Boss as UC and the rest are common. On that note it's been said the are not unique and represent the Republic Commandos as a whole. Lucas wanted the most known out there. Another thing it appears Mas Amedda is Republic as well(again I will change this). Seps 4 slots with Maul rare.
Rebels we've seen'em all except Luke. 3 slots Atgar(R) and Yoda(VR). Imps 6 slots again we know them all Vader is again an Imp. Dark Trooper 2 is uc 1 is c. Sandtrooper c rarities for Vader and E-web are with held for now.
NR a big 3 slots one missing we know of Horn and Jaina. My guess would be Jacen but who knows. Fringe 6 slots HK (VR). We are now up to knowing 6 VR, 8 R, 5 UC, and 11 c. I'll be putting my list in numeraric order and updating tonight. Shouldn't take me more than an hour or so.
My take on the set I'm generally happy. It appears that Wizards had more OR pieces but they were axed by Lucas' approval team (or whatever they're called). Hence the supper influx of Republic pieces. Also it's been pointed out that BH is to have a good deal of "generic" rebels. Oh one last thing my take on the Mandolorian thing is this. Canderous may very well be on the OR faction and some of us know he is not only Mandolorian but something else aswell. No spoilers please.

| | Update is complete I tightened up some of the stuff. Let me know if you guys would like it any different way. I included all the rarities that are known along with adding Vader to the Imp list. Also all rumors are basically done. I.E. no room for Lando, General Mohc, and we found Vader a home. Hope you all like the new format and find it usefull. | |

I know george lucas said there had to be a vader or Anakin in every set but I was really hoping for episode 1 Annie. at least it would be different. We now have 5 vaders (including COTF) and i think Rob from wizards said we are getting another in BH with a possible 16 attacks or something. However, there are only 3 Anakins. | |

We already have one, Anakin Sith Apprentice. All the Vader pieces will get pretty old but I say just take the stats from existing Vaders and repose him. | |

| I'm a DnD guy much more than SW... but i sometime get some figs from star wars for my RPG game... are dose anyone know if the new starwars set is going to have any good monster types? like the rankor, akely, rek were? (sorry on spelling)

| Not sure, aside from the Sith Mutants which make excellent footsoldier deoms. We have not realy seen much that screams D&D. You should check out the Sith Mutants though, red scaly demonic humanoids with two-handed axes.

At least it would be different and as for his abilities I was thinking some really good repair ones. Also maybe one called the "chosen one" a bit like Luke on Tautauns "use the force". this would simulate when he bew up the neimoidian ship.

| Why not, there are still 3 Open slots in imps
if we take it that the Rebels go from 43-45 and are just Luke, Yoda, and the Atgar, the Imps most likely go from 46-51, and are 6, while we do know three figures for sure, the two Dark Troopers, and the Cor Guard, that still leaves 3 open slots.
While there is supposed to be a vader/anakin in ever set there are 4 open Republic slots, an Annie could go in there to fill the need for the vader/anakin requiment for a set, leaving 3 slots, we are guessing one will be a stormtropper, but it could be an Imperial Pilot, they come after Dark Troopers in the alphabet, and it could be the common imp grunt figure (but is more likely an uncommon).
I don't think they can be rules out yet, i hope they freakin show up soon... | |

| | Actually the Imps are done check my list. Rocket Ranger on the Wizards site was given the loist and rarity. I emailed and got permission to use his list(not the complete list but what he's put up). There are a couple people claiming he's a person off but so far it doesn't look like it. Also he's been adding rarities to unpreview pieces and adding pieces. Like the Old Republic Soldier at #5. Dark Trooper is common and Commander is un. Off to update. | |

It does seem Wizards has a good many of it's posters under NDA agreements. *shrugs* One guy has even said he's had a walk through recently and not only seen the full set of SWM but DDM aswell. Again he said he had to sign an NDA just for the walk through but hay. | |

| I agree that there are too many vaders, it is especially difficult because Vader never changes his costume. Since most of the bases lack terrain it is especially difficult.
I like the idea of a commander though. If you watch the movies he's always on the boarding party-or down on the planet. I think the other problem is that his early miniatures were so powerful. Compared to a lot of the other characters his rebel storm sculpts were pretty awesome. With characters like Han and Luke, there was definately room to improve. If they do make a vader commander, will they sacrifice some of his force powers for commander effects? | |

I believe Rebel Storm starters are still well available? Anyone can get Vader and Luke from there! In my opinion forcing one in every set is a little closed-minded. I'd be happy to get alternative cards for my vaders, but not interested in new Vader minis. Even if I like Vader a lot more, Anakin's a lot better subject for miniatures due to Vader's armor.
Vader's great character, I admire that character! Still, I have one Anakin and one Vader and that's enough for me. RotS had three Anakin's /Vaders, I would have believed it would have been enough for a while.
