| I used to collect Star Wars junk but thankfully George Lucas cured me
of that with his "Original Star Wars Fan Rehabilitation Program" (aka. Episode I: The Phantom Menace). That movie, and the other
two prequels, were so sickeningly, painfully bad that it cured me of SW fandom
forever.
The quote Hot Waffles:
But there was more to the story
Of Leia, Han and Luke
So they went back many years
They made the prequel Movies
So excited I could puke
But then all that came were tears.
Episode I just stinks
Remember Jar Jar Binks
And how he stepped in poo
It’ll never be the same
Midiclorians are lame
And what's up with Naboo?
That’s why we say…

| I now collect DDM.
I use to collect comics, arachiac weapons, star wars, women.
I still collect D&D, movies and good novels.
I plan to return to collecting weapons but eventually I want to get historical pieces, when my finances are steadier. I'd also like to collect some art when the time is right.
Sometime in the near future, I'm going to have to go through all my comics and start choosing which I keep and which I'll sell. Then I have to judge if the market is at the right time for selling. | | "I was sittin' here eatin' my muffin, drinkin' my coffee, replayin' the incident in my head, when I had what alcoholics refer to as a moment of clarity." - Jules Winnfield Sales/Trades Bad (1): Ironfist Boulderbender Trades/Sales completed (8.): Danthl, Dafrca, Garyaxe, qillan_dvra, realmaster, Vandal_Savage, cavedweller, unearthed arcana. I'd love to get some more Mechwarrior clix, But I'm just not willing to pay 60+bucks for those 'ultra' rares.
I love comics, and when they're translated to movies or video games or RPG's I'm interested, but Heroclix, didn't interest me enough. | Currently collecting: Degrees Books (~3000 and counting) DVDs (~1200 and counting) HD-DVDs Blu-ray Discs Musical Instruments
Have collected: DDM (no longer collecting, merely picking up odds and ends for RPG--probably going to sell a chunk of the collection) D&D (no longer collecting. Lack of recent quality 3.5 stuff and the announcement of 4.0 has killed my collecting interest) Obscure console RPGs (i.e. Shadow Hearts series including Koudelka). I still collect a few of these, but most newer RPGs aren't as good. Obscure non-console RPGs (i.e. Zork series) Star Wars paraphernalia. My parents and I have been collecting Star Wars stuff since 1977. Currently sifting through the old stuff (including some incredibly rare stuff) to start selling off. Lord of the Rings paraphernalia. Collected less than Star Wars. I have over two dozen editions of the trilogy (as well as a few pretty rare Tolkein books like his essay on monsters in Beowulf). Probably going to sell of the action figures and keep the books. NES + games. No longer collecting, but I have a fully-functional NES system with every accessory made (power glove, light gun, track and field mat, etc.) and over 100 games. It's fun to break out the classics sometimes. SNES + games. See above. N64 + games. See above.
