I play as well, though I haven't been able to find any tourneys around here. The upside is that the game is so quick and easy to learn that I've been able to get many of my non-gaming friends to play with me.
As for Musashi, you can still find him on Ebay fairly easily (but you probably knew that). He also came in an old issue of...I want to say Inquest. You could probably find out which issue # over on the Triking forums. Probably the best way to get him, though, is to demo the game at a convention.
You definitely want Musashi, as he is easily the best Japanese warrior. | | Champion of Gnomes

My friend that showed me the game gave him to me to play in my first game. After checking all the Japanese cards, i came to the same realization. But alas, he isn't for sale ...

| | I have the promo from inquest. It has a beowulf pack and musashi. Both packs are unopened. I'll have to look around for them. If I can find them, I'll post again here. | | I need a newcastle... | |

| Friend of mine at the FLGS is collecting the game, and I play with his stuff.

| Turns out a friend of mine found a small card shop in town that had the pack (i don't go there cause they don't carry DnD or DDM). Thanks guys.
Oh, and i played last night using both Bokken (my friend has him as well). It is cool, but i did much better with a Katana, or even the Sverd!!! [)]

| Yeah, like Chris said I'm fairly into the Anachronism scene. I've got all of the standard warrior packs (except Oda Nobunaga, who has eluded me for a long time now), the six mail-in warriors, a pair of Musashi/Beowulf packs, and a handful of tournament promos.
The Chicago area is turning out to be a pretty cool scene for the game. There's a few stores that are running weekly or so tournaments and once a month there's a big tournament that people all over come for. We've even had people showing up from Springfield and Iowa for that one. I think we're starting to get a bit of a reputation in the online community as well. Perhaps at GenCon we can establish Chicago/NW Indiana as a top scene for the game much like SoCal did for DDM last year.
Anyway, I think it's a great game. One of those simple to learn, hard to master things. I've usually been able to bring something different and new to each tournament and do pretty well, so I guess that's something good it has going for it. | | Successful Trades (31) | Trades Pending (0) 12th Place in the 2005 Nationals, and I owe it all to the Minis Training Montage.
