| I just had a friend shove this CD into my hands:

I can't figure out if I like them or not, but they remind me a ton of Rush. Considering how many Rush fans seem to populate this site, I thought I'd bounce it off of you guys. Anyone else heard of these guys? Are they on the radio now (I haven't turned on an FM radio in years)? You might want to check them out if you're into prog rock.

| I'm a big Coheed & Cambria fan (and a big Rush fan), but it took a while to grow on me. I absolutely love them now, though. Blood Red Summer and The Crowing are my favorite songs off that CD. Neverender, Godsend Conspirator, and Hearshot Kid Disaster are among my favorites from their first release. I still need to pick up the new CD.
You can probably hear a few of their songs (Devil in Jersey City and Favor House Atlantic) on some really progressive/alternative radio stations, but definitely not anything mainstream. | |

| They've got a couple songs on the local college station (89.7, The River--Iowa Western Community College).
I wouldn't miss them if the station stopped playing them (I wouldn't miss Coldplay, either!), but I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon. I've heard worse. I can say that with confidence.
