| | Wow I did a search on the site again and man there is some really cool pieces. Maybe I will look into it. Not so much traps but the table pieces and such. I wish they had more passage pieces. | | Champion of the Peryton Vindicated Champion : Pit Fiend, Devourer DW: Duergar Priest RPG Only!!!! The Drumming Drunkn' DM | |

| We have several sets (7 total) including both sets of traps. They are very, very cool. The big problem that we have with them, is that they are very time consuming to put together. It needs to be something that is done well in advance of the game and then you take the your map and cover up the part of the dungeon the players haven't been to yet.

I draw out my dungeon (map it out on scetching paper) and then put it together as the pcs explore | | Trade Topic & Reviews of Dwarven Forge & Finished Trades& Champion of Fzoul ChembrylD&D Miniatures Played to the Max | |

| Dwarven Forge is very high quality stuff - looks good, well made, highly durable, and bottom is covered in felt!
However, in using if for D&D a few things need to be considered:
1. Design Difficulties: Unless you design your dungeon using the DF pieces as templates in is very difficult to get them to match your dungeon design. Sometimes nto a big deal, as its only a little off, other times its more of a problem.
2. Set up time/put away time/space: it takes a good amount of time to find the peices you need, take them out of boxes, set them up correctly, then move them out of the way as characters leave that area. Good to set them up early on a piece of ply-wood, but then keep several sections of dungeon on plywood is more space then most have available AND you need tons of sets...
3. Cost a lot and you need LOTS: to be really usable you need ~10 sets of Dwarven Forge (15 if you want to do caverns too) which is $750 or so. Then you need A LOT of extra 3x3 floor tiles and LOTS of extra 3" walls and 3" hallways
just my 2cp from extensive use
