| | I was recently doing research on a hippie commune/personality "cult" and was surprised to see a picture of the webmaster of their site had a sizable collection of DDM. It was definitely a bit eerie given the fact that there can't be that many people with minis in the general populace. So what's the weirdest place you've seen DDM before? | | It's deja vu all over again. | |

| | Was on a business trip and sitting around my hotel room going stir crazy so I went out for a walk. Found this oddball little shop that sold pipes, pipe tabacco, cigars and the like. Had a tiny book/magazine section and lo' behold they had a few Star Wars boosters along with a couple Aberration/Deathknell. Guy behind the counter grumbled that he couldn't sell 'em. Tried talking him down in price if he'd bite but no luck. Still got to wonder. | | You see! There ARE others out there just like me. What? Why are laughing? | |

Another strange place I've heard that someone saw DDM minis was in a freshly issued pile of dog doo. Alas, poor Pyro... [XX(] | | Knight Warlord a.k.a. Commander (#32) in only 6 months. | I honestly felt that Barnes and Noble was a weird place to see minis for sale. I haven't yet seen a weird place where the game was being played.

If it was in the dog poo maybe. Definitely not if it was in Boba-fout's pants [:P] The Elf Pyromancer isn't that far behind Drizzt on ebay at the moment. | | Knight Warlord a.k.a. Found an opened pack of SW Universe at a Barnes and Noble...it still had the Rancor with card, so I bought it. | | Good trades here: http://www.maxminis.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=8678 Good trades on www.rebelbasers.com (SW TCG site): DARTH_TED, longshanks, Obi-Dave, darthvinny1974, Massacreur Feedback on the WotC board: http://tradehouse.site.io//gtl.html My eBay feedback rating: http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=boba_fouts&ssPageName=STRK:ME:UFS Feedback at www.starwarsminigames.com: http://starwarsminigames.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2555

| I've played DDM and SWM at Wendy's, Shakey's Pizza and a place called the cantina (it had a droid detector at the door to help keep droids out). We most frequently play in a rental tatami room.
As for places I've seen other people play. That would be nowhere since I've never heard of any other groups playing these games in Tokyo.
As for odd places they've been sold. Again just the game shops and most don't even do that. | | Robert Rosehart Champion of the pixie

| Ive never seen them anywhere odd being sold.
Comic Shops and Book Stores...Thats it.
Its dishartening because alot of regular retail stores (WalMart, Target ect) usually have a section or a rack near the registers that have Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon, HeroClix and Magic The Gathering...But never DDM or SWM.
The One and only exception to the rule is when Revenge of the Sith toys had their release date. When the toys were unveiled and for sale there were SWM in Walmart and Target. Once they sold out that was it though. | | Champion of the Skulk Vindicated Champion of the Twig Blight

| | Something strange I saw concerning minis. I was at a Borders bookstore sometime back, and there was a kid, maybe five or six, running around his baby brother in a stroller. Both kids had mini's in thier hands. The reason why I remember it though, is that the older kid had a Large Silver Dragon in each hand, and was crashing them into each other and making the monster noises. | | I need a newcastle... | |

| When I was in Singapore 2 years ago (when Rebel Storm was out of print and really expensive), whilst walking out of a public toilet, I saw a solitary RS booster pushed against the rear storeroom window of a tiny nondescript toy shop selling mainly children's toys, lego and star wars memorabilia... there were no SWM on display in the shop, so I asked the shop owner about the RS booster... he said that he had loads of them which he just couldn't sell.. so I bought all 8 of his cases for about US$100 each (4 of which had Boba Fett).

I was shocked to see Chapters carrying DDM...
