...... at least around the U.S.A. I was packing up a trade and got a box I just recieved some minis in. I tore off the lable to find another label under it, I peeled that one off only to find another. Curiosity got the better of me so I kept going and found 2 more addresses before I got to an address witten right on the box. So this is 5 times this box was used,6 if you count me. I recognized one of the other names as a mini seller from texas. In all probablity this box was reused 6 times to ship minis, who says were not doing our bit to save the trees. [:)] Does anyone else out there know how many times there shipping box was used? I remember something about a box around the world a while back.

There used to be a forum for boxes around the world. With each box having a passport inside with a record of where it had gone and what minis it held. People also stuck extra little things in the boxes to be passed along until they finally made it back to the starting point. I've had a couple pass through my hands at one point of another.

I actually never got a box that has been reused, but i do reuse a ton of boxes.

I think well over 90% of the boxes I use for shipping were used by someone else first. But, I pretty much completely remove any previous identifying data. Once in a while I cannot, so I use paper to cover the entire box. I haven't ever really kept track of how many labels are on packages that come to me--some of them are really marked up though. Dave

Cool story. I myself have reused many boxes to the point that I can't even keep track. I do the same or removing old address labels and have recognized my fair share of previous trades, sellers, etc. How fun.

I too have rec'd boxes from other folks from around the country that have been re-used. IIRC the "orginal" pilot of the box around the world was a pink Snig. Perhaps we can get that going again. Hell if anybody is interested I'd be willing to help get it going once more.
