| Never EVER tell your mom your buying a case of minis! I mumbled something about the case being a week away and she asked me about it. Being still a bit groggy from waking up to go to school, I stupidly didn't try to stray away from the question and told her $150. She gave me the cover her mouth and gasp. I'm soooo glad it was morning or else I'd have gotten a big lecture. It might have even got to the point of her making me cancel my pre-order.

At $150 a case, I'm not surprised she was shocked. You're paying full retail! Nobody buys a case for full MSRP. | |

| Once upon a time, I might have worried about why my mother would have said. Actually, that's not such a big deal with minis. She would have said something like "It's your money," and then rolled her eyes.
My wife, on the other hand, is happy for me. There is this pasttime that I have, that I enjoy, and that, frankly, costs a lot less than a lot of other hobbies (you know, smoking, drinking, all those other "hobbies").
If only there were going to be more sets, like Archfiends, that would turn out to be worth a small fortune. I've got a small pile of those babies and so, for now anyway, I can pretend that my thrice-yearly expenditures are an investment.
