| Well, we had "sonic wall" for a while, and it blocked bunches of sites, along with lots of work friendly ones. Then one day it disappeared. I'm certain that there was much rejoicing from some of my coworkers.
Now, we are given 5 minutes of warning and BAM, Websense is running. Jeez...
For now, I'm still able to get MaxMini's without using hte Brinkster site, but the WotC info, Ebay, Enworld et al is now lost to my wanding mouse...

| Sorry to hear that Pat.
We are plagued by Websense here at work and eBay, wizards.com and maxminis do work tho, miracle indeed. Enworld and 90% of all other gaming sites are underThe Websense category "Games" is filtered.
Not even amazon.com [:(] bastards!

That only goes so far, though. Even the IT guys have to report to someone, and if you're not in good with that individual, it won't do any good to bribe the IT guys.

| Our web filter blocks practically everything that I would deem
fun, we can't even access yahoo mail from work. So everytime I
need a site to deal real work i have to have the boss add it to
the ok list...what a pain. I should just add a ton of sites that
are practical for my normal work web sites and try to sneak
maxi's in...
when i'm asked what is this for.
I can reply that it is a site for helping me with my mental addictions and that it is part of my therapy.
