This is very true. I'm one of those freaks who checks the maxminis several times a day to get my minis fix but it just hasn't been too interesting lately.
To be honest, I think it's just the whole initial excitement surrounding Wardrums dying out and people are being left struggling to know what to talk about. Even now, there are still new threads being created regarding the whole paint jobs things, a topic with which I am now well and truely BORED of! | |

Agreed.
Especially since there are sections for SW and A&A minis and they get pratically no hits.
Unfortunatly there is already a thread being started in general that is compiling the stat spoilers for the Dreamblade minis [xx(]

| Well, this is not a RPG site.
This is a "Trade, sell & discuss miniatures" site. Generally the focus has been on WotC miniatures, and Dreamblade fits both categories. I suspect that you'll see better support in the dreamblade forum than what you've seen in AAM and SWM...

My fear is that eventually General is going to fall into the real of no adding to your post count BECAUSE of threads like this. Too much fluff makes for those changes. And I recall Merric at one point deleting post counts and penalizing people for maneuvers like that [)] | |

It's also a bunch of regular posters "going secretive about their Gen Con Qualifiers info". "gotta get an edge!" There really aren't many secrets, especially when you look at the vast similarities in the warbands taken to Gen Con and Qualifiers overall, but to each his own, I guess. Gen Con comes at a "bad" time of year for me to go, so I'll keep on spouting. [:o)]

I guess my initial opposition was to the idea of incorporating Dreamblade into maxminis as a regular part of maxminis. But once I realized that a separate forum for it might divert related threads away from the General section, it was fine. I hope that threads talking about comparing Dreamblade to DDM or whatever get sent to Dreamblade forum instead of being left in general since they apply to both. | |
