| Its not really a "scam".
He flat out admits in red letters that it is not an official Heroscape Figure.
He even says if you e-mail him he will put whatever stats you want on the card.
So unless a buyer is real dumb or just didnt read the auction..the buyer knows its a custom job.
The only thing he doesnt do is say what he made the figure from.

This is what all retailers do. Very few products go directly from the producer to the consumer. None of us get our mini's directly from WotC, for example. There are several people who make money off the product before it gets to our hands. | |

| At least there is *some* customization being done. If he were selling these with the DDM bases still intact that might raise even more eyebrows (why does my "mimic" say Lemure Copyright WotC?) [:D]
If the seller started mentioning that these were customized DDM figures his entire market would collapse since his buyers (who I'm guessing aren't aware of DDM) would be more likely to just buy a 33 cent lemure and rebase it themselves... | |
