Anyone know how to blow access to web sites?

My girlfriend has a young child (8) and he likes to play on cartoon network, I want to make sure, because of a pop up or some other happening he isn't able to access certain sites.

Thanks,

Paul

- What computer does he go on (ie Mac, Windows)?
- And what OS (is win98, winxp, Max OSX etc)?
- What Web Browser does he use (ie Internet explorer, Firefox)?
- How computer literate is he (ie clicks wildly, stays on the page mostly)?

If you're not expecting him to try and get around it, using a pop up/ad blocker, or 'trusted sites' in internet explorer might work.

I`ll prepare a sheet/faq on using internet zones in IE for controlling web access for you (as is cheap easy option)... will take me a couple of days for getting to it.
