Funny you should mention this. It would probably sell fine. As recently as the 1980's the Japanese educational system either didn't teach the WWII part of their history, or they taught it in a very "positive light". Very different from what Germany did - the right thing. | |

I didn't remove the plastic from my Guardian yet. It doesn't look bad in it and it protects him (he's a fragile one) in the box of minis. | |

Yeah, like WD, there are a few really good pieces, but by and large the paint is crap in DuD as well. That's why we call it DuD. BTW, it's the first set that I didn't buy cases for. Strangely enough, I actually think it's a pretty nice set overall. My only problem is that I already have so much of that nice stuff from the older sets. I still haven't gotten any other than the obligatory free stuff I get from WotC (like for Cons or delegate) I'm up in the air on whether to order any. Just say no.....lame set, other than some of the Uncs and a couple rares like the Vrock.
I must disagree. I like the set very much except for the paintjobs.
Isn't that kinda like saying you love pizza, except for all those nasty toppings? | |

No, I hate only olives:-)
Most of the jobs are smwr in the middle, some are great and a few really bad. But several sucky paintjobs won't ruin it for me. | |

Most of the jobs are smwr in the middle, some are great and a few really bad. But several sucky paintjobs won't ruin it for me.
I thought most were bad. Metallic on the Hook Horror and Griffon, though the paint is the least of the HHs problems. Most of the commons look hideous. I only bought 19 figs from the set and only 3 of those are rares. The PCs looked really good though.
