Nope. Sounds typical to me. While my wife enjoys playing and checking out all the new minis she has zero interest in inventory control. I think it is jsut one of those areas in which men and women differe completely. As far as my wife helping no way. However my 7 and 5 year olds are a great help in finding "matches". Only down side is I usually have to confiscate all the female minis from my 5 year old. | My wife:
"Your counting, re-organizing, and taking an inventory of your miniature collection AGAIN?"
And then turns her back to me and hufs away.Â
But heaven forbid if I:
"Your watching, taking notes on, and planning on what you can use in our home from that Home and Garden show AGAIN?"
And then I turn my back to her and head for my mini collection.Â

| My 13-year old shows a little interest because he likes to paint some of them. My 18-year old really doesn't care; although he uses the minis in both skirmish and D&D, he doesn't want to help me keep track of them. My wife keeps telling me to insure them, but she shows no other interest.

Dave Difficult to do, since most insurance companies will ask for an appraisal (and no slight against Madda and his work, but his guide wouldn't count).
