| Faith Community Church recently sent 94 of its men to the Mt. Pali Resort in Southern California - we had a blast for the whole weekend. Before I go on to the pictures, I'll mention that the resort is really, really posh for a mountain camping center.
-The cabins had heated floors
-The bathrooms had hot water and wood paneling on the walls
-The food was gourmet
So yes, we had fun. Anyway, the resort itself is beautiful - you'd never guess that it's in California. The first thing to realize is that, at 6400 feet, we were above cloud level:
WOW.
The resort itself is pretty nice, and in a thickly wooded area.
Some of the neighboring mountains.
The main lodge where we usually hung out.
Sunrise in front of my cabin.
Fog in the evening
The abominable snowman.
They offered several activities - I didn't get any pictures of the paintball matches or the hike, but you can imagine how much fun they were.
Archery.
Some of the guys got bored with archery.
Football

We also has plenty of fun indoors.

Now yes, this was a church trip, so we did meet religiously a few times.

Anyway - I probably took twice as many pictures as this, but I need to sort through them. Suffice to say, we had a BLAST that week! | |
