| Now don't lynch me.
For some reason teh number 327 is menaingful to me. From all the times it turns up in the original Star Wars films (which I adored at the time) to the fact I have lived in two different places with the street address 327 to an untold number of times it crops up in my life in subtle and different ways. There is just something about that particulr number which resonates with me.
So yes, I know it means Bog-all to anyone else, but it is a milesonte for me.
Cheers. [:D] | | Champion of the Gelatinous Cube. Nemesis of Gnomes and Dinosaurs.

| Well then congrats I guess :)
What do you mean "at the time"? You dont love SW anymore? Even if the Prequels didnt live up to expectations..dont let that take away from the original trilogy.

Nope. While I still enjoy the originals the utterly shite sequels killed my SW fandom like a three crappy bullets in the head of a Mafia snitch.
It wasn't even a conscious decision. I didn't think to myself "that was so bad I don't like SW anymore", it just happened. After sitting through TPM I just found I no longer had an enthusiasm for anything SW, and it just got worse with the next two stinkers. I watched the originals - both special edition and original versions - afterwards and, though fun, my reaction was "meh" at best.
Trust me, it makes me sadder than even you can ever imagine. [:(] | | Champion of the Gelatinous Cube. Nemesis of Gnomes and Dinosaurs.

| Sulaco, have you checked out the Cartoon Network's SW micro-series. It's got what the Prequels sorely lacked, when I watched the series back to back it made feel like I was five again.
The Prequels do have some miserable failings to them, but they are no match for the power of the Skip Scene option on my DVD player. [:p] | | Pathetic Earthlings. Same here!! I am not one to rail against SW. It was one of the best things that happened to me. Heck my mom contributes it to the main reason that I am in science. So, it had a real effect on me.
I am going to have to check out the cartoon network thing....perhaps it might be a New Hope????? I know it was bad....but I couldn't resist...[)] | | Ambassador of FUN!!!

I can definitely relate to that. I used to be mad on Star Wars - collected the action figures, etc, etc. These days I couldn't care less. The thing is I feel like I've been cured from a disease I used to have. Weird.

| Ah, 327...I remember that post fondly...
A lovely post declaring to the world that I certainly wouldn't pay $19.99 for Giants of Legend boosters!
