| Okay, here my gripe. People who talk on their cell phones whilst driving! Bloody idiots! Australia and the UK (both of whom had cell phones in common usage long before the US) have realised the correlation between cell phones and traffic accidents and so have banned cell phone usage whilst driving. How long before the US does this? Florida drivers are bad enough without distracting them with cell phones!

| | I would like to complain about WoTC seeming lack of foresight in release dates. Or prerelease dates. The prerelease tournament is scheduled for July 1st (canada day) when stores are seemingly not legally allowed to be open (although some flaunt that I think). It kinda ranks up there with the deathknell release being on good friday. | |

- I never got an Elf Pyromancer, and probably never will.
- The current Adult Swim lineup/schedule. Its horrible, and steadily growing worse.
- The sad fact that someone like Paris Hilton can trademark a phrase they didn't create or even popularize.
- These crumbly local Harrelson Toyota commercials in which a physically inept guy tries to do sports stuff and yells "BAM!" to advertise cars. These come on at least once every commercial break on EVERY CHANNEL, and they are really annoying.

An Elf Pyro? Had one but my dog decided it be a better chew toy to take a trip down the browner brick road. You can find one but you'd have to pay thru the nose for it. My major bitch: WoTC doesn't plan on doing any reissues on figs "since it is a collectable gaming product." They further stated that they did not want to "upset" the balance of the market.
Secondly Paris Hilton, dude? Really what a waste of space that chick is. (echo echo)

| Bad drivers are bad drivers.
People who use cell phones in accidents, likely would get into an accident if they had to look at a map while driving, or were eating their lunch.
If you want to increase safety on the road, make it illegal to drive with kids <7 years of age in the car with you!
I drive 40,000+ miles a year (GAH!), and 3/4's of that is for work. I use a cell phone, I have to eat in my car as well.
I rank the most dangerous conditions as
1: In car distractions (Kids in the back...) 2: Food 3: Cell Phone.
But it all depends on how good a driver you are to begin with...

Gas is up, which sucks. I need to buy new furniture. I terminally scuffed my favorite shoes (to much to get them mended), and my schedule isn't looking good for the next month so I probably won't have a free weekend for awhile. Plus I just got a speeding ticket from a camera in an area that I know I was driving at the speed limit.

| Okay, I'll gripe about dye in food. Why the heck does it seem like practically everything out there has food dye in it, now-a-days? Mint ice cream - gotta be green? Yellow dye in waffles and cheese (shoot, I even bought some fat free mozarella by accident and discovered that it had food coloring--don't ask me, I know mozarella is white-ish)? Red dye in dried cherries and cranberries. I bought some vitamins for my kids, and those stupid things had food coloring in them--isn't red #40 supposed to contribute to hyperactivity? Am I giving my kids vitamins or amphetamines? Heck, even produce has wax on it to make it shiny. Why do we need all this extra crap in our food, especially when some of it might be outright bad for you?
But don't tell me to buy "organic". That's another gripe for another day. | | "Before God we are all equally wise - and equally foolish." - Albert Einstein Champion of Myopic Half-Orcs Winner, WBC X | |

| My wife and one of my sons have such bad food allergies that dyes cause them to have minor reactions. So, there ain't much dye in our food (of course, much of it is organic, but, yes, that's another story).
Gas prices here are about $2.60, which sucks. Especially since I commute about 300 miles a week for work.
It's been colder than usual since about the 10th day of January, and I'm freaking tired of it already.
I have insomnia today, so my brain is feeling kinda fuzzy.
I lost two games at the pre-release on Saturday--each one to a person who took home prizes. In both cases, I lost because I needed a 6 or better on d20 and didn't get it. In one game, I had two swings: 3 and 4; in the other game I think it was a 1. Damn.
My jobs suck, I'm underpaid and haven't had health insurance since 1997. (See first gripe, these two don't go well together.)
My father-in-law is having his colon removed on March 7th. March 7th is also my younger son's birthday.
My favorite dog died on Dec. 22--Merry Christmas.
My house's water is on a well, we have the highest iron content in the county. Even with excellent filters we have an insanely high level of minerals in our water (yes, it's softened). This ruins a lot of our stuff, and causes some fairly early appliance death.
My car has 229,000 miles on it, and somehow continues to run. The compressor doesn't work though, so no defog, and no air conditioning. The no air wouldn't be a big problem, except the driver's window doesn't work, and it gets kinda hot commuting an hour to work in the summer.
My driveway is full of cracks, which makes shoveling a chore, which means my driveway is not quite as easy to navigate as I'd like.

| | Alright, now I'll gripe about dirty, rotten, vandalous kids (probably kids, anyway) who have nothing better to do on a Friday night than drive around with a BB gun shooting windows out of random cars. How the hell does anybody grow up thinking things like that are fun? I spent an entire day this weekend cleaning up shattered glass and making space in my garage so I could get my van out of the driveway. Now I have a van that isn't driveable and a car with criss-crossed duct tape holding the back window together. I tell you what.
