| Go Sabres! Sabres beat Hurricanes 3-2, 1-0 in series. Home ice now in Buffalo. And no foot in crease or pucks through side of net. It was a well fought great hockey game.

Now comes Game 7. I don't know if I can take another nail bighter like that one again. I missed the 1st two periods (luckily) but that 3rd period and overtime were nerve wracking. [:0]

The Sabres are down one more defenseman - Jay McKee is out sick, still n Buffalo, listed as questionable, and may not play tonight. [:(][V]
They have no more defenseman. Wait, was'nt Lindy Ruff a defenseman. I can see it now, Lindy Ruff the Movie. Coach joins the team on the ice as a defenseman to help team win game 7 and then the Stanley Cup. [)]

It's over. Sabres couldn't overcome all of the injuries. [:(] They might have been the best team in the NHL this year not to make the final round and play for the Stanley Cup. [:0]
It was a great run and a series though. [^]
