One of the reasons I like DDM way more than MtG is that it's more friendly to new players.I don't know if it's because DDM needs more fresh blood because it's smaller, or because of the more cutthroat competitive scene. But regardless, I typically shy away from the game.

Unfortunately, the gamers in this area (WotC's backyard) are way more into magic than DDM. Thus my friends will often be playing magic, while I am looking for someone to skirmish with in vain. So I've decided to get back into magic on a limited basis.

But I need to find some forums that are somewhat newb friendly. Most of the magic communities I know of are decidedly not newb friendly. Anyone know of somewhere more accommodating?
It's deja vu all over again.

Sorry dude, I wish I did.

Back when I played, I just bugged my friends who played with a million and a half questions. When I finally wandered online it was with a ton of knowledge under my belt.
