| I have been looking for this for SO LONG! [:0]
My school library had a book with one picture from this scene, and also mentioned briefly everything that happens here. I was sure Lucas would include this on the DVD box set, but alas, no. | | Completed trades: Gausse, Mazra, Pagansexy, Galerians, Lord_Raven, Drakkengi, Temujinn x2, Random Sasquatch, elf_ranger, Azuretide, Hung4treason, Griffrat (face2face), Nasamonkey Carpe Forum!

| | I'd be willing to bet there are alot more that may have even been lost or destroyed. I even saw an original scene with Han talking to Jaba before they made him a big slug, he was just kinda a big shady looking guy. I believe they used it in the boxed set with a cg Jaba over the original one. | | Asystole is a stable heart rhythm | |

yeah I saw that scene as well, they had it in a special they were showing for the release of the DVD with the new scenes. They explained why they had to have Han walk on Jabbas tail, because they had harrison ford walk in a circle around the actor playing the orginal jabba, so in the added scene when they digitaly added the new Jabba they had to have Han 'arrogantly' step on his tail.

Try this one http://www.starwarz.com/tbone/cut_scenes/ep4/biggs_returns.htm which is linked from the above (which works for me) and has the downloaded mpg/mov version. | | "Mutton yesterday, mutton today, and blimey, if it don't look like mutton again tomorrer." | Ive seen this before.
In 1998 LucasArts released a PC CDROM called "Star Wars: Behind the Magic"
It was a guide to everything Star Wars. It has movie clips and encyclopedia entries and schematics for all the star ships. Its awsome. I still recommend you hunt this treasure down. You can find it on e-bay for like $5.
Anyway this deleted scene and another alternate cantina scene are on the disks. The original Cantina scenes had even crappier alien costumes and it wasnt crowded enough. The only part that was really different is that Han is flirting and making out with a girl at his table. When Chewbacca brings Luke and Obi-Wan over Has is like "scram" and she leaves as they are sitting down.
Im still surprised this didnt make it to the special features of the Trilogy DVDs.

| Fun stuff, I hadn't seen it. Although I'm glad it was cut after having seen it. I don't think it taught me anything new about Luke or the situation, I just sort of wished it would end ;)

way to steal my thunder .
Bah who needs better sound and picture clarity as well as a link that works for everyone kids today no appreciation for anything... why I oughta
seriously though nice catch, I didn't really pay any attention to the comments especially after some of them started making gay references about biggs slap on the back/butt. Although the place I originally found the link did have a funny reference to Biggs looking like Freddy Mercury.

| | I saw pics of this in the dvd documentary. These scenes werea real mystery to me for a long time. I had this Star Wars hardback kids book from the 70's that had pics of these scenes but did not describe them. There is a scene described in the book of Luke and Biggs saying goodbye that also has a pic, but I have not found the filmed scene as of yet. | | Evil triumphs when good men fail their morale saves. | |

| FYI, the original link has been deleted. Did anyone download it?!
The other link only has about 50% of the footage...
